      Buyer Beware!! This company gives us the impression of a scam.We were contracted by a company *** to check my roof for damage since they were in the neighbor hood working on nearby homes. The installed a new roof about three years ago and said that the roofing asphalt had a twenty-year guarantee. I received a document after they completed the roof they stated there was only a two-year warranty for the installation.After 16 months I called them and said that was a leak along the roof garage edge which they fixed. Now we have two leaks along my roof line where the garage meets the house.Three years after the installation we have two leaks and water damage in the home and we were told it was our responsibility to fix it. I contacted five roofing companies and got estimates from $1800 to $5000 to fix a roof that was not installed properly. Problems with flashing and improper layout of shingles were the problem. I paid over $14000 to get the roof done properly and now feel duped that they should have done it properly to begin with.

      We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your roof. Per our contract, we provide a 2 year Workmanship warranty on all roofs. You roof was completed in July 2021, and our records show that several storms have impacted your area including winds up to 70mph and quarter sized hail from March 2022 to August 2024. Additionally, your area was affected by Hurricane *** in 2022 and Hurricane ***** earlier this year. It's possible that your current leak may be the result of storm damage. We recommend that you contact your insurance company to report it. We stand by the quality of our work, which is why we offer a 2 year workmanship warranty and always ensure our roofs pass final inspection with the city inspectors to confirm compliance with Florida Roofing Code. During our conversation on 9/9/2024, we explained that while we are happy to assist with any repairs, your workmanship warranty expired in 2023. As such, there is a standard service fee for sending a roofing specialist to your location.

      The Business response is incorrect on my complaint.My complaint was not about the tarping before theystarted replacing our roof My complaint was about the failure of no tarping durring the week long replacement ********* by Evergreen roofing company.It rained very Heavy April 2021 while the roof was stripped and not tarped during the evening after the workers went to their motel rooms.The new tile was thrown about the property.The reply from Evergreen is twisted. They are talking about two completely different events as if it was the same event. Yes we are in the aMIlitary on Duty. The roof replacement date kept changing. We were able to catch a flight to witness the replacement of our roof tha whole week Feb 15th 2021 Yes we spoke in October 2021 with the *** I recorded it.my email address is ************** I can share this recording with anyone. the letter below is 100% lies!!!Business response 11/22/2022 We have already spoken directly with these owners. The husband is active military and we spoke about this back in October 2021. We explained to him we can only do work we are contracted to do. The ILL repair job they are speaking of is when we were hired to come out and fix a tarp that was put on by another roofing company. We completed this task and then had a very high wind storm that took off another tarp that again, another company had put on. NOT EVERGREEN. We are not responsible for any damages that occurred between the time that the tarp was not on their roof until the time we placed a new one on there.

      During the install process, the roofers do not leave the roof open at the end of the day. We insure the roof is covered with a layer of self-sealing peel n stick underlayment which is designed to withstand the normal elements of weather for up to 6 months. Any insulation that was damaged during the heavy rain was replaced.

      We LOVE our metal roof which made it through the recent hurricane fantastically!! However, one of our 12 skylights sprung a slight leak. Once reported, a crew came out right away to inspect and fix the issue. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Thank you, we are so glad that we chose Evergreen for our home!

      I had a roof put on By Evergreen handled by *********************. It took two days to put roof on but weeks to get to that point. After the first rain I had a leakage around the chimney & seeped into my ceiling to the Den area about six feet. I have been promised by ******************************* in home office in *********** ** to send out someone to check the damage but till today 5/24/22 there has been no one to check the damage. I need assistance with my problem. Thank you, ***************************, ********************************************************.
