I just purchased a truck as is from mox motors in ************** fl *****. I purchased said truck last monday 12/30/2024 zero issues starting zero issues running yet one week later the fuel pump goes out? nothing was mentioned in any carfax or anything about a bad fuel pump so i got sold a lemon car. They arent willing to pay for any of the repairs for it and ive been quoted $1,000 to fix it. I just put $3,400 DOWN for the truck and within a week of ownership the fuel pump goes bad and theyre not willing to work even half of the repair costs. Another thing that is quite odd is the truck has ******* miles on the dashboard but the key and not to mention the only key has the dealer paper on it for the truck and the miles are wrote as ******* so im not sure if they rolled it back or if thats just mistake but the fuel pump repair is the biggest concern because I shouldnt have to worry about a fuel pump going bad within a week of buying a car from the dealer. And as i said they are not willing to pay anything to it and i was quoted $1,000 for the repair after i just put $3,400 down a week ago.

I purchased a vehicle from the February 26,2024. By march 15 I had to call the dealership about the engine light coming on and off and my vehicle not driving normal. They told me they would have their mechanic look at it and fix it. Mox motors and their mechanic gave me the run around for over a week in a half before looking at my car and fixing it. The code popped for a misfiring of cylinder 2, when the mechanic fixed my vehicle, he did not put the cylinder in the correct space. He put it in slot three instead of two. I was unaware that he had did that until I called them back two weeks later because I was having the same issue so I took it to another shop to get a test ran on it to see what was wrong. It now popped up with cylinder 4 & 2 misfiring with severe damage done two cylinder 2, which is what they were suppose to fix. When I called they didnt not want to help fix the issue even though this was now the third time calling them about the same problem. So I went and replaced all the cylinders which costed me over $200 in parts. That did not fix the issue and it got worse and now does not drive and shakes really bad and makes a loud sound on start up. I havnt even had the car for three months and its been sitting in my drive way for a month in a half now. Once I paid them all the money for the car and even before hand they did not want to help fix the issue. Also found out that one of the employees was driving my vehicle around for personal use for a few weeks while his car was getting fixed right before I purchased it. I was not told this until I went back in to make my first payment. Im a single and currently pregnant in June. I have no vehicle now to get ******* child home from the hospital. I told them my situation and I wouldnt have it to fix major repairs of the car had any issues and they assured me the car was safe to drive. It is not. I have no way of getting a vehicle now as I am out of work and really just want my money back.

I bought a car from them. They said their guy who cleans cars was not there and promised to call me when he was there and they would clean car inside and out. For some reason the car was very dirty, even the trunk. I called several times and they ignored my problem, they then said they would not clean it. They have a very bad attitude with customers. Did not fulfill their promise.

If the car was as dirty as she claims... why would she purchase it.... At the end of the day she purchased a great car at a great price with warranty

On 3/29/2022, I purchased a vehicle from Mox Motors. Upon credit approval, Mox advised that the loan company asked for a larger down payment; I provided $1800 in cash to Mox. After having the car for a few days, it was brought back to the dealership for repairs. The vehicle was at Mox Motors from 4/4/2022 to 4/30/2022. Communication from Mox was limited during that time which killed any confidence I had in the dealership. Upon pick up, I immediately brought it to the local Firestone for a diagnostic. Firestone advised the vehicle needed more than $5000 worth of work, and the vehicle was unsafe to drive. The vehicle was parked in the driveway and was not driven. I had already contacted the loan company to see about getting the loan canceled. On 5/16/2022, I received a call from Lou at Mox, who advised that the loan company wanted him to buy back the vehicle from them. Within an hour, a tow truck came to pick up the vehicle. The loan company has advised me that I will be getting a reassignment letter in the mail once payment is received from Mox, and the loan will be canceled. The loan company has advised me that they are currently waiting on payment from Mox to remove this loan from my credit reports and that they are not responsible for refunding the down payment, as that was not part of their agreement, they apologized for the dealerships dishonesty. I am seeking help in getting back the $1800 deposit that I put toward a car that I was never able to use as I intended and I no longer have possession of. I have included a timeline of events in addition to all documents and photos related to this vehicle.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/20) */ When we were alerted to the problem, we had the customer bring the car to our dealership. we saw that a radiator hose had cracked, and after driving it hot, we felt that a head gasket had blown,, We repaired both head gaskets after sending the heads to an outside shop to be trued. even though we felt that the problem could have been avoided by not driving the vehicle once hot, we did the complete job at no cost to the customer. The shop she is referring to after the work was done is where her son works, hardly a fair assessment. Once the finance company contacted us about returning the vehicle, payment was made within 24 hours with no damage to the customer's credit. It is unfortunate when things like this happen, however, we went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/05/20) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The issues with the vehicle overheating were known at the point of sale on 3/29/2022. Lou advised that his mechanic wasn't in at the time and that I could bring the vehicle back to him if there were any real issues. I returned the vehicle to Mox the night of 4/3/2022. The situation was only rectified by Mox after I contacted the loan company to have the loan canceled as I was sold an unsafe vehicle that has excessive damage. The vehicle was not driven once it was too hot as I have basic vehicle knowledge. Mom Motors had possession of this vehicle longer than I had it (4/3/2022 -4/30/2022), I never even put gas in the vehicle. I am asking for the return of my $1800 deposit since the vehicle has been returned to the dealership. The diagnostic report was ran by a third-party, my son is not an auto mechanic. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/05/27) */ You have the resolve. The bank accepted your return for the money you borrowed. We more than rebuilt the top of the motor and it is in great condition now. There is nothing else we can offer. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/06/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Since I do not have the vehicle or the loan it was intended for, and as stated in my original complaint I want the $1800 down payment returned to me.

(3/4/22) put $13,000 down payment on a 2013 F-150 at Mox motors, came back a month (2 hour round trip drive) later to receive my second temp tag as my first one had expired and my plates still haven't came in the mail (tag credit provided at the time of the deal since my old one had been stolen). (5/4/22) my second temp tag expired, my calls to mox motors have barely been answered unless I *67 beforehand and when they are I'm run in circles and gaslit saying it's the DMV fault and "covid"...I decide to call the DMV (5/9/22) and I'm told my paperwork had just came in that same day and my tag will be shipped to Mox Motors the next morning (finally some truthful information). I wait a few more days for my plate to come in and still nothing so I call the dealership and they finally provide me a tracking number but unfortunately my plates were Re routed right back to the dealership for "unable to deliver to address" which makes zero sense because I receive packages daily. I'm told it will be dropped off again the next morning (5/12/22) so again I wait until today (5/17/22) to give mox another call, immediately I'm met with a poor attitude, threats and pettiness (per usual) and I'm told that they will not be shipping my tag out because of a Facebook review made about them. Lou says "The only way you are getting this tag is if you come pick it up what are you not understanding" I respond with "I am not driving all the way down there illegally what are you not understanding" , Another worker says "okay well I'm not going to sit here and argue with you so this plate is going in the trash because we are not mailing something to you after the Facebook post your mom made about us". So after over 2 months, $13,000 and 2 payments already made I am still sitting here unable to drive my truck legally due to the pettiness of Lou and his Co workers at Mox Motors.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/20) */ No matter how much she put down to receive credit, the fact remains. The truck"s title had an error on it and it took longer expected to have both the selling dealer and the DMV to get it corrected. When finally in, we 2 day mailed it to her, however, trailer lots can have a problem with delivery as evident in this case. We gave her the tracking number, which proved it was sent, however it was returned. When told she can give it a few days for remailing, or, come pick it up, both she and her Mother got extremely rude, cursing and using the "F" word in between every other word... At that point, she was told to come get it. Obnoxious, rude, crude - just can't deal with unreasonable people. BTW, the excuse of not coming here to pick up her tag was she couldn"t drive the truck withan expired tag, however, I just will never believe she sat home all this time. Seemed ok to drive to the Police Station to pick it up there!? Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/05/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I receive MANY packages a day the only reason this one was sent back is because YOU put an incorrect address on the envelope...once again placing the blame on other people rather than yourself. I was more than reasonable the entire 2.5 months I went without a tag and the only reason things became heated was because of your lack of communication. After the deputy went and picked up my tag from you, my family member then went to grab it from them so instead of assuming and throwing around false information you should focus on your customer service skills. Bringing up the "F bombs" that were thrown around seems a little childish as an employee at mox motors also was cussing over the phone.
