4/23/24 McWilliams installed a new 5 ton Trane AC. I paid in full.on 07/10/25 I reported water leaking in garage from handler into ceiling surrounding my overhead light. They sent *********************** to fix it. He stated poor install, wrong tape, totally soaked& it was never sealed. He vacuumed out the water & stated air handler too hot. Stated handler not raised high enough & tilted incorrectly. He took my IPad & took pictures of all the water on top of handler & wet ceiling/ peeling paint. He could not figure out how to correct it & recommended **** from *************************On 07/12/24 ************ removed more water & found they had double trapped everything so removed outdoor trap. Stated pitch of handler incorrect. He told me to run on Fan trying to dry out x2 weeks. I sent a letter to the owner *** McWilliams reporting all issues. Asking for reimbursement for fee to ************ $220 for assessment recommended by McWilliams own repairman. Answering service. He does not return phone calls. Email invalid. On 07/28/24 I put AC back on on Auto. On 07/29/24 water leaking all over garage onto my car & into ceiling around my light, staining ceiling with paint peeling. On 07/29/24 ************ came again. He removed water & noted leakage. He tried to correct tilt, but stated needs to be raised, straps not strong enough allowing bowing. **** from ************ stated the entire garage handler needs a whole day reinstallation. It will cost thousands to reinstall. I want a response from the owner if they intend to fully correctly reinstall the handler which involves redoing duct work, raising unit, proper tilt & proper sealing. I have no confidence in this ************** to hire another company to do it correctly. I am now running AC again on Fan as it continues to leak. I am a retired RN, recent widow. In the beginning they also tried to charge me a thousand more then quoted *****, but I met with owner who fixed overcharge. ***********************Business response

I am rejecting this response because:Re Complaint ******** 67911212E8DA6 Mc ******** *** responded will pay West ******** *** to reinstall Trane new AC equipment. However, ************ is very busy & I am waiting for him to repair unit. I can only run on Fan setting. It will not run on auto. I set @ 77 degrees, as my electric bills are now much higher. I am 75 a widow (retired RN) .

We called this company for our AC they said that they have to change the thermostat and it would cost $225 in total when he wrote the invoice out he added another 100 dollars as a call out charge ! When l questioned him why did he not make it clear he said it is company policy . I think this is daylight robbery we live in England and we have a house in Newport Richey we are disabled people and l am a retired lawyer we owned this house for the last 14 years and we had a lot of work done but we never came across this type of behaviour before . In the end we paid $300 dollars for a 47 dollar item it is not the money but the underhanded , sneaky way it was done if this is not resolved l will take them to court and expose this company as a matter of principle god knows how many old people they have done thisBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/27) */ To just change the tstat it was the quoted amount,then to throughly diagnose the entire system for proper function added labor cost that were necessary as stated to customer Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/01/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They should have made it this clear now they are changing their story from the service charge to diagnostics . It is not acceptable if any one can see this pls AVOID this company
