If I could rate this business 0 stars, I would. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had! I booked a two night stay at the La Vista Inn, when I arrived to check in, I was surprised to see a clean reception area. The check-in process was easy and the staff was pleasant. They gave me my room keys and I proceeded to my room where I had to dodge numerous huge piles of animal droppings. I entered the room and was grossed out immediately by the smell of mold, the blood on the toilet and both beds frames were broken. I immediately asked staff to switch me to another room. This room was visibly cleaner, however, there was a strong smell of incense that was clearly covering up another smell. One bed frame was broken but the other was in ok condition. At this point I was too tired to deal with it and went to sleep. I woke up to the extremely strong smell of urine and could not fall back asleep. The next morning I asked them to move me to another room once again. This next room smelled better and the beds were fine except for a piece of the bedframe on one of the beds was sticking out and if not careful, could hurt yourself. The bathroom wasn't clean and the bathtub was very dirty. I will never stay there again and recommend everyone stay far away from the La Vista Inn!!!

DO NOT go here the place is nice the staff is horrible. The key to the room 201 would not let you in the room and we called since 1115 am and as of 7 pm no one took care of this. Staff is NOT professional and do not understand the complaint. The complaint is when you leave the room and it locks you cant get back it . Cant call the phone number because it doesnt take calls because no voice mail was set up. This is a business and you cant get a hold of them plus there are no phones in the room.

75 room cost, 10 dog fee, 50 deposit which I only had 48 cash. When I return key in morning la vista inn kept 25 of my deposit for a towel they claimed had blood on it. I told them I used towel to walk across floor because floor was filthy. They still kept the 25a towel doesnt cost 25 dollars. I feel like before they charge fee for items like a towel they need to clean the hotel room first so there isnt a reason for a nasty towel for I believe something they could of prevented. I feel like this situation could of been handled differently and I feel like I was over charged.

This hotel has unethical illegal criminal practices. They demand a cash deposit that they do not return no matter what, they refuse any refund and they like to kick people out for literally no reason. I booked through Expedia for two nights I was there for four hours, they charge me $50 cash deposit and $100 on top of my $150 reservation charge through Expedia they kick me out four hours after I got there because there was two people in the room which I had two people on the reservation they kicked me out at like 1 oclock in the morning Im disabled and an agonizing pain and I needed to be in a hotel room they forced me to go sleep in my car I was hours away from home they called the cops on me try to have me arrested and refused to return any of my money, I saw them do the same thing to a severely disabled elderly couple who have no place to go refused to return their $50 cash deposit saying that they put burn holes in the comforter, this place doesnt even have comforters they have a sheet on the bed that is it The cops told me that they have a history of not returning deposits and taking people out this place needs to be shut down they are criminals they prey on disabled the elderly and they stereotype and they think they can do whatever they want they are running a criminal money laundering scam operation they need to be thrown in prison and shut down do not I dont care if they give you a lifetime free do not go to this horrid hotel the blinds dont even Cover the windows theres Holes through the doors in the walls the beds Are lumpier than half mashed mashed potatoes do not go to this hotel youll be better off sleeping in the middle of gang territory in the Bronx or something this place is the absolute worst all the way around they dont offer anything the Wi-Fi doesnt work the pool is nasty the rooms are disgusting they dont have any extra towels or anything and they guaranteed will kick you out or steal your money do not go here ever for any reason

This hotel needs to pay people to stay here, not only is it absolutely disgusting but they charge a cash deposit which they usually end up keeping, I watched approximately 10 or so people all confront the staff about keeping their deposits and how suspicious it is to even charge a cash deposit to begin with when most are paying with credit cards for their stay. Telling people that dirty towels are a reason for keeping most people's deposit, even though housekeeping could easily clean it and no other hotel in their right mind would use "dirty towels" as an excuse to keep everyone's deposit. The furniture is busted and broken, couches are stained, sheets are stained, the shower curtain was moldy, full of mildew, the doors had obviously been punched and holes pathetically filled in. The lock on my door had clearly been broken into before and the lock was rendered useless. The floor was black from dirt, I doubt they ever actually clean ANYTHING in this hotel, they fail to mention you have to REQUEST housekeeping. Then they blame the customers for the hotel's problems that they've had for YEARS. With all of the money they are stealing, you'd think they'd fix their rooms. Definitely go to *********** next door, they at least have better rooms and service if you're looking for a cheap stay. You definitely get what you pay for at La Vista, the cheapest around. Unfortunately I had to stay at this hotel while I suspected having a flu/COVID symptoms and they threatened to call the cops just because I called them out and demanded the half of my deposit back that they stole, saying I was "putting their lives in danger" as the mask I wore kept slipping while I was talking. I did not see ONE person get an entire deposit back almost a week of being there. I stayed in this hotel approximately two years ago for one night with all the same issues. They are rated very low everywhere you look and should be investigated for scheme to defraud.
