  Can I give zero stars? Similar experience to what other customers have written. They lied about the reason for construction delays. It turned out they hadn't paid subcontractors and liens amounting to tens of thousands of dollars were eventually placed on the property. They ignore letters from attorneys, demonstrating that they don't care, and they think they can just take money and use it for purposes other than building the home for which they took the draw. Construction is not complete and we are spending our own time and money trying to make progress while we figure out how to get this done and how to recuperate what they stole from us.

  It’s been over a year and PSL Properties has not finished the job. I went under contract on 9/20221 , permit was not applied for until 03/22 and it took the engineering dept another 6 months (09/22) to release the information necessary for the permit to be activated. This company is unreliable, the lack of interest shown to this contract, the lack of due diligence of PSL Properties, the lack of customer support and the overall unprofessional handling of this transaction is Unacceptable. They still have not provided a completion date ! Do your homework before you sign on the dotted line with PSL Properties. Too bad the system does not give the option for a ZERO STAR rating but that is what I give PSL Properties. *****

  We entered a contract with PSL July 2021. We put $114k down and nothing was done for 6 mos because it got stuck in engineering. Later we found items in the contract you should be aware of so hire a lawyer: -They dont want you on the property -They charge penalties for late payment but not for late build Their customer service is either not there or dont know what is going on or anything about construction. We are in JAX and they promised a portal which was never right until recently. Problems we encountered: -Property cleared 1/22 but stopped by HOA as it hadnt been approved that appears to be owner responsibility. Lost 2 mos. -Found the plumber had modified our washer dryer hookup and not told us we would not have known if we hadnt gone on the property -They didnt follow plans (and several other things) with the block if HOA hadnt stopped them they garage was in the wrong place **************** installed wrong trusses and builder tried to hide it from us HOA caught it it took 2 wks to fix it with a modification the engineer would agree on -Shingles sat on roof 6 wks we were told is bad for the underlayment by professionals in the business ***************** rep changed which was actually a positive since we couldnt get answers from the first one. -Superintendent changed which cost us at least a week the jury is still out as we have had 7 weeks with little done since he came on board -We had communication issues from the get-go with customer service and the portal. Very poor customer service. We keep getting lip service that they are going to start moving but never really do. -The only work in last 7 weeks is stucco and shingles and insulation. Drywall was 4 weeks late per contract. The last 3 wks the date has moved now showing 10/5/22. Original date communicated in office was 7/12/22. Over the past 30 yrs we have built many houses and never experienced this kind of service. I can not recommend this builder.

  I closed on my house December 29, 2020 for Port St. Lucie Properties to build my house. As of July 27, 2022 my house is not built. After starting on my home there has been nothing but issues and more money being paid out. Ive had to extend my loan from the bank because Port St. Lucie Properties had not completed my house in a year. The work that is being performed is not passing inspection which indicates to me that he is not working to his full potential to build my home. The trusses to my house sit out in the weather for over five months. Port St. Lucie Properties was having multiple problems with the foundation. Which is the most important part of the house.The Inspector had to put a stop work order on my house during this process. The new issue is they did a re-plumbing on my house running the main water line in the ceiling and in the walls instead of underground because the underground plumbing had a flood. It is my understanding that a leak will come quicker if it is ran through the ceiling. I have been saving for years to build a home from the ground and it is very frustrating to have to deal with this contractor that is not showing any consideration to my house. I chose this company because they have been in business for nearly 40 years.
