Had problems with a relatively new ** unit less than six years old. I actually have had multiple problems with the ** not working correctly. I contacted the company and they sent a contractor out. He was here for a very short while and said that he put a pound of Freon, and that should fix the problem and he left the charge for that was $191. That worked for about a day and a half. I called the company again and the same technician came back out. He discovered that we did not have any leaks. He looked at the coil and said it was dirty, which is typical for the ****************. We did not want to replace our coil as we just had it cleaned over a year ago. He agreed to pull the coil out and wash it out in our driveway. Prior to washing it out he showed me the coil, it was a little dirty, but there was no exorbitant amount of filth or dog hair. He put the coil back in to the tune of $694 . That lasted about another day and a half and we came home to a house that was 85. This time the owner came out, the new owner, who found that the culprit was the capacitor. He replaced that and added a booster for over $200 . This problem should have been found the first trip out when the technician put Freon in. Spoke to the owner last night and no I did not request a refund of the $694 but I am now. He has done nothing but slander us here and on other public websites. In the contents of his posts, he calls us out on our financial situation, which is nobodys business. We should not have been charged for cleaning the coil and we should not have had to wait three trips to actually find what the real culprit was. We are into this for just over $1100. We would like the $694 refunded and all slandering removed from public websites.
