              MARCH 30th 2022.$2,942.00, paid in full check #'s 174 & !80 both of which i have cancelled checks When 1st installed, we found a bump sticking up about approximately 3/4 inch high & a circular dark stain about four inches wide.After numerous phone calls & visits to the store & approximately 10 emails, of which i have all dated copies,Store Mngr. also verbally promised to replace the defective carpet installation with luxury vinyl flooring, & then he outright denied what he promised. Then my designer, *****************************, contacted him on Monday, May 1st 2023, & told him how unhappy both ******* designer were, and suggested a complete refund, which he agreed to. BUT now he is denying having a conversation saying he said he would refund the funds.Invoice # WX204811, March 30th 2022 , issued by store Manager, ***************************** * Hessler Floor Covering was purchased by Wayne Wiles Floor Coverings, in 2019, President of Hessler is *********************************

              HESSLER FLOORING SUBCONTRACTS THEIR INSTALLATION SERVICE AND DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY MISHAP. Sadly, I had a jewelry bag stored in my nightstand and did not think to remove it when I had the carpet installed. My engagement ring, infinity ring, necklaces, etc were inside and I discovered the bag missing a few days after the installation. The Naples Police Dept was contacted, officers came and took the report; a detective assigned to the case. It is a criminal investigation because of the dollar amount involved. The detective contacted Hessler and the installers. They have refused to cooperate! The installers are not obligated to return the detective's calls. Hessler insists I file a claim with MY insurance. Initially, they agreed to file a claim and have since reneged. This has been heartbreaking. Hessler's customer service is horrible. DO NOT USE HESSLER IF YOU NEED THEM TO INSTALL ANYTHING!!!

              The customer is correct in stating that the Naples Police Department was contacted and an investigation was performed. The detective assigned to the case found no evidence to suggest that Hessler Floor Covering or the installation crew was involved in any alleged theft. Hessler Floor Covering did cooperate and answered any and all questions posed by the detective. Hessler Floor Covering was advised to convey to the customer that they contact their insurance company to file a claim as again, Hessler Floor Covering was found of no wrongdoing. It was conveyed that should any evidence be found by the customer's insurance company to suggest otherwise that they could then subrogate for reimbursement. Hessler Floor Covering has been in business since 1951 and has never encountered a claim such as the above.

              To be clear, Hessler Floor Covering spoke with the Naples PD detective but did NOT pursue any follow-up with their installation teams. What actions, if any, were taken with the installers? Hessler NEVER reached out to me to offer any form of relief. Who instructed Hessler to convey to me that I contact my insurance company? Their insurance company? Perhaps they have "never encountered a claim" such as mine because they refuse to accept and/or file one.
