I gave their website my phone number in order to have a price revealed, and have been called more than 35 times in 30 days. After emailing "do not contact me again" to every manager I could find an email for, they have continued to contact me. At this point I am looking into filing a harassment complaint with the county sheriff.

For several years, we have brought our Toyota Prius (first our 2010, and now our 2020 model) to Gettel Toyota for regular service and maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, and similar). The staff is always pleasant and communicative, and the overall experience is smooth. They have a nice waiting area with complimentary coffee and water bottles. (Also, they are within walking distance of ********* which I and my husband consider a perk).

A few months ago, after a serious accident in my Toyota Prius, Toyota Gettel in Punta Gorda repaired a serious damage in the front of my car. A couple of months after the repair, the engine began to make a strange noise and the dashboard showed the low coolant signal. The engine was burned out for serious coolant leaking. Toyota Gettel did not accept responsibility for a faulty repair and decided to change my engine for an old one with 31 thousand miles, a blatant abuse. Allstate paid the old engine and the labor, but they told me that they were extremely uneasy with this. A couple of months after the first engine was changed, I noted a strange noise in the engine and the low oil signal. The engine was burned out again. Toyota found a bumped oil filter leaking oil, and the car engine splash protector was intact ruling out any accidental damage of the filter on the road. Toyota Gettel did not accept responsibility again and claim some kind of projectile hitting the oil filter, a theory completely denied for Allstate. Consensus of Allstate and many mechanics consulted, faulty repaired again. The possibility of an accidental damage of the oil filter on the road is close to zero, and Toyota Gettel, once again, decided not to accept responsibility, offering me a 51-thousand-mile old engine, and asking me to pay for the labor, another blatant abuse of the consumer. I have complained many times to Toyota Gettel and Toyota Corporate, no response. Frankly, I will never buy a car again in the Toyota Gettel dealer. Toyota Gettel in my opinion, the worst dealer I have ever encountered in my life, they are doing enormous damage to the Toyota brand with the way they abuse customers.

Less than a month in to owning this 2022 Tundra there is a notification on my app that the tonneau cover has been recalled because it has a known issue that it can potentially fly off and KILL someone while youre driving down the road. I spent over $1,300 for this cover that could MURDER someone and is literally useless at this point. Besides that it leaked and a clip came broken anyway. I called the dealer to see what the solution is and also explained Im in ******* working from out of town and have NO Where to store this thing. The dealer (****** Toyota in ***********) told me Toyota has no solution for a fix so I have to find somewhere to store this broken defective product till someone somewhere comes up With a solution. They then tell me to call Toyota to see if I can get a refund and just turn this product in.Call Toyota, and the guy tells me they cant offer a refund because Toyota hasnt made that a solution. On a cover less than 30 days old, they get to keep my money. Asked for a manager to please call me back so I can explain how its a product that was defective that they sold me, and again, I have no where to store this thing. Im not in a house and do not have a storage unit. *** tells me good luck because managers have no decision making power and he will not make any notes for anyone to call me back. Then tells me to call the dealer to see if theyll allow a refund or a storage option.Go back to the dealer, and get zero help and zero options again. When inquiring again about just returning the tonneau cover, service asked me who will refund Toyota then? You sold me a product that was supposed to help me *************** gear from weather and people, and now I cant even use the truck as I intended. They took the cover off for me and couldnt have even offered me the box the cover came in to store it outside. Not an inch of trying to help the customer in any way shape or form.

I have had the worst experience buying my firat car through this dealership and I will never go back or send my friends to this dealership. The finance manager who took care of me took advantage of the situation and told me thay everyone picks gap insurance and that I had to pick one without any information about it, how much my payments would go up nothing and unfortunately this my was first time buying a new car and was buy myself and didn't ask the questions I should have. Now mind you I canceled the gap insurance and was supposed to get a refund 8-12 weeks later. Unfortunately that did not happen because Martin said the company had a glitch in their system. We are now in August and that was just taken care of because I feel like again he was taking advantage of me and trying to keep that money. He told me my refund would be much higher than what I was just given. So that right there is NOT okay. I stayed ontop of this matter and good thing I did because I would have never gotten my refund. Now, the second problem with this ****** dealership. They messed up on my registration tags and didn't even flipping tell me. How?! Why?! Are you kidding me?! Absolutely unprofessional. I called the DMV this morning in regards to my registration. They put a sticker on my car for 9/23 and its a good thing I did my registration this morning because the nice lady on the phone at the DMV told me they entered in my registration, deleted it, put it again wrong and out the wrong sticker on my car. Mind you if I got pulled over on 9/7 of this year I would have been thrown in jail because of this matter. Absolutely ridiculous that this company can't even get the registration right on my car. Makes me wonder how many other people's they have messed up on and didn't communicate that to the buyer. Again I will never be going back and buying a vehicle from this dealership. I suggest you all think before going to Gettle in PG because they truly suck and are liars! -1000 for my experience.
