On 10/4/2021 we contracted with David O***********, owner of Critters Tree Service for various outdoor improvements to our property. We paid a $1,500 down payment at that time. Work was to begin the following Wednesday, 10/13/2021. What followed was a number of missed start dates, non-communication, and no work. I am uploading all the text messages between David O*********** and myself between October, 2021 and January 2022. The last communications starting on 12/29/21 were of me requesting a refund of the $!,500 deposit. on 12/29/21 Mr. O*********** agreed to refund the deposit and said he would be in Sarasota on Monday and could stop and meet us anytime. I responded that we would be home all day and to come by anytime. At 3:15 on that Monday we still had not seen him so I tried to call. The call was directed to full voice mail box. I then sent another text message stating we were still home and asking if he had an idea when he would be by. As I still have not heard from him, I believe I need some outside help getting a refund from this business. As stated I have included the text messages between us and this business and a copy of the original invoice.
