This review has been delayed due to a glitch in the bbb system, but I vowed to get this posted here eventually. I vociferously do not recommend this place to anyone. My cat was taken in for blood work and urinalysis to determine why she had lost so much weight. I had expected thyroid, but needed to rule out cancer and such. The vet was quick to up-sell me on many other things; a yeast infection in the ear, a deworming even though test fecal exam came back negative - just for safe measure, a $40 rabies vaccination (which you are told is $19, but...let them explain that to you), etc etc. I love my cat so I did what they are hoping you will do out of desperation - I paid the $450 bucks. They weren't even able to get a urine sample so the only thing I went after that I actually got was the blood work. Great. The vet called me back with the results and left a voicemail (that was good at least), however he gave no options for treatment - simply that he would prescribe pills. My cat won't take pills from me. I finally decided to go the radioactive iodine route (which was never suggested and some of the office staff had never heard of) at a clinic in Ruskin. They insisted she needed to be on medicine until they could see her in May. Over the course of THREE DAYS I called pavillion crossing to inquire about the trans-dermal thyroid medicine - each time being told someone would get back with me. This never happened. On the 3rd day I finally got an answer but was told it 'could be at least least 2 weeks for it to come in', so I found a pharmacist in Brandon who had it on hand. Although they were suppose to call it in, I finally had to get into my car and stand there at the office while they finally called it in. I have experienced nothing but frustration from this place - and I've only known them for a week! The only good thing (and I mean only) I can say about this place is 2 (and only 2) of the technicians were very sweet (but not necessarily competent) people.
