11/09/22, I paid a $600 deposit to TD Construction to enclose 2 porches at an estimated total cost of $1200 aver the phone with *****************************. He had contacted me from a post on ****'s. 11/11. ******* schedules work to be done on 11/19. (Confirmed on 11/18) NO SHOW NO CALL I reached *******. Rescheduled to 11/21.11/21. NO SHOW NO CALL I reached *******. Rescheduled to 11/22.11/22. NO SHOW NO CALL I filed a poor rating complaint with ****'s. ******* called. Apologized, offered a refund or a reschedule, which we did for 12/01 and 12/02.12/01. NO SHOW NO CALL I reached *******. Will be here tomorrow 12/02. NO SHOW NO CALL 12/13. ******* said a refund has been processed. Did not. I hired TD Construction and Remodeling Corp. to do some irrigation work in my side yard, relying on reviews on their **** profile and information stating that they were licensed to make my decision. In the process of trying to install a French drain, they said they hit gas lines that were 2 underneath the concrete. This lead to a re-estimate of the project and at higher cost, as it involved gas lines, which would require city permits. *****************************, the principal, kept asking me for more money to cover permit and engineering fees he claimed had been assessed by the ************* and kept putting off the actual work (other than ripping up the existing concrete, which was done). At a certain point, I agreed to some additional work on the shed for the cost of materials only. Eventually, the amount of money he was asking for became suspicious, and I asked him to document the permits, as the project was over budget. He dragged his feet and continually promised to provide documentation but never did so. At this point, on 11/30/2022, I attempted to verify the permits with the city. After walking into the **************************** I learned there were none, nor were any applications in process. Eventually, I attempted to verify his contractor's license but could not find it. I contacted **** and they said he had checked the box stating he was licensed but never provided the license number. I have continually asked for his license number, and all he has provided me with is his corporate registration. I believe he is operating totally unlicensed. Later I had another contractor look at the site, and he told me there were no gas lines under the concrete.The work was rescheduled many times, but the last scheduled work date was Saturday 12/3/2022, at which point no one showed up to do any work or delivered any of the materials that were supposedly purchased on my behalf. I paid a total of $33,752.75, and though I have been offered a refund, I have yet to receive it.Business Response

contract date 12/8/2022. start date. 12/9/2022. Job #*****. sod installation. Jib cost $3300 Job contact ***************************** He wanted monies upfront and he collected $1650 cash up front before starting work and balanced to be collected after job completed Job contract details (have contract )1) sod removal and cut about 1 1/2" below surface 2) Intergraded barrier to be placed around palm trees 3) 7 pallets of sod installed (Floritam)4) leveling of yard and also spraying for bugs prior to laying sod 5) after installation of sod, I will spray fertilizer down along with a nontoxic bug spray Crew came the afternoon of the 11/9 around 11:30. ******* said they had a problems with lawn saw cutter and arrive with very little equipment.. I lent them 2 wheel barrels and 8 assorted tools to do the job crew came back on 10th to finish removing the rest of the grass.......yard still needing leveling.... that's as far as they got...******* stated because that he would be there on the 11/21 and no showed he said the fields were flooded and he couldn't get the sod....He then stated that it will be the 29th because his guys were off till then... no show again and he said that he was still having a hard time getting sod. He stated again his supplier can't fill order.I contacted 3 sod companies and had no issue getting sod in 1-2 days Contacted ******* 11/30 again and says he was working on it, by that afternoon I contacted him and wanted to contact the deal. I asked for $350 partial refund of monies paid. He said he would send it out the evening when he got home. Never got it.11/30 ******* said would contact on 12/1 and resolve situation 12/1 ******* text me stating he was working on a contact for cancel and refund...I have seen neither.I'm not expecting any for free, only what I paid for This Job should have taking less than 12 days even with the Holiday Duration 11/9 to 12/1. so many excuses so many promises This job has cost me $750 more than original contract .Initial Complaint

September 10, 2022 contacted TD construction to solve the flooding and standing water issue in out new home. They quoted $2650.00 to place french drains x 3 in the back yard and promised this would solve the issue. On September 17, 2022 we got a storm with a large amount of rain and the french drains did NOTHING to solve the water problem. We contacted the company and they came to evaluate the situation days later. They stated they needed to regrade the entire back yard, fix the french drains and report the concrete patio. All for an additional $8020.00. They came after one month to grade the back yard. At that time they informed me that my check was no good and wanted cash. I contacted my bank to see that they check was GOOD and was in pending and he sent me a screenshot of his bank that also said payment pending. He continued to then ask for the $8000 in CASH. When I refused and said he had to wait for the check to clear, he then refused to come finish the work. It has now been 2 1/2 months and the cement slab has still not been poured. He refuses to refund my money, he refused to email a copy of the contract or to provide any copy of it. He stated this past Monday he would be at out house and still did not show up. Now I am out of $10000 dollars and have nothing to show for it.
