My husband and I booked a cruise with Bahamas Paradise Cruise line on June 28, 2019 for a cruise from July 20, 2019 to July 26, 2019. We purchased the travel insurance protection and due to his passport not getting to us in time, we had to postpone our trip. In August of 2019 a large hurricane came through the Bahamas and this cruise line stopped sailing. Shortly after this, Covid started and all their travel was shut down for over a year. Because we had the travel insurance, we were given a credit. They refused to give us our money back. We were however given until December 31, 2022 to rebook, which we did on July 12, 2022 for a cruise on July 29, 2022. Our booking agent ***** booked our cruise and gave us the current promotion that is going on right now, which is a BOGO promotion. I've attached our new reservation and our reservation from 2019 to show all legal documentation. We currently have a credit from 2019 for $1,945.80. Our new reservation was for the same exact cruise and stay, but due to the ***** our price now was for $959.80, instead of the original price of $2,092.00 minus the $147.00 insurance. The company is now telling us that the booking agent made a mistake and that our reservation which we have in writing and which is a legal and binding contract is a mistake and the price has now gone from $959.80 to $2,585.80. We never agreed to this price and all calls with this company are recorded, which will verify every bit of this information. It is not our fault nor responsibility that this company's employee made a mistake. She is their employee and therefore, their responsibility. We should not be held financially responsible for her incompetency. We expect Bahamas Crusie Line to honor their recorded word from their booking agent employee and their legal and binding written reservation agreement to us for $959.80 with a credit left over of $986.00 from total credit of $1,945.80.Initial Complaint

DATE OF TRANSACTION WAS *** 15,CANCELLED ON *** 19. i STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND OF $542.68. THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT WAS $644.68. i HAVE BEEN CALLING AND AM GETTING NOWHERE. THEY HAVE MY MONEY, BUT I HAVE NO CRUISE. I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY JUST KEEP TRANSFERRING ME TO ANOTHER PERSON WHO KNOWS NOTHING!!! THIS PAYMENT WAS MADE ON MY CREDIT CARD AND TO THIS DAY, I HAVE NO REFUND. NO PERSON TO HELP ME, THEY KEEP PUTTING ME ON HOLD. I WOULD LIKE A DISPUTE PUT IN AGAINST THIS CRUISE LINE.Initial Complaint

Our cruise to the Bahamas on 7/22/22 was cancelled by BPCL. We were informed of the cancelation when we showed up at the port that morning (after a 5-hour drive). Unfortunately, we were unable to delay the cruise to a later date and needed to request a refund for the full amount of the cruise, $1090.88. The refund request was issued to our email on 7/22/22. After weeks went by without seeing the refund being issued I have personally called, written them on ********* and emailed this company requesting an update on this refund. However, the refund has not been processed, and getting connected with their customer service team is almost impossible. The cruise line has recently rebranded themselves and I believe they are now doing business as Margaritaville at sea. Can someone please help me get my refund for this cruise before we reach the statue of limitation in July 2022 ?Initial Complaint

I purchased a cruise In 2020. COVID-19 happened & the cruises were cancelled . The company has yet to refund me the *********** been asking since October 2020. They give the run around about the cruises high cancellation & stated I wouldve been refunded in March of 2021 It is now May 18th 2022 & I have yet to be refunded . I want the full amount I paid $483.35 to be refunded . As a global pandemic happened & NOBODY was able to travel . I got multiple emails to them asking for a refund & only received a confirmation of a cancellation & no refund . Ive waited patiently for almost 2 years. I need something to be done. During the early part of January, we canceled a family cruise due to COVID concerns. We had already paid in full(nearly $900). The steps for filing for a refund were made and approved (within the refunded time frame). It has now been more than 4 months and still no refund. The customer service agents are always respectful and kind when I call and they promise a resolution. It is apparent, that they are just delivering empty service and the situation is out of their control. We are understanding of the struggles COVID has presented ******************* but it is illegal for BPCL to continue to hold my payment. I hope for a speedy resolution.Initial Complaint

We are owed a nearly $1,000 refund from this cruise line and have been waiting for it since January. (The account is under my husband's name- ***** Shutters) but I am the one who has been doing all of the booking/contacting with the company. I have called the company a few times since the original call where they told me that they were going to send it in a couple of weeks. We are now almost in May and I have not seen the check and they say it is "processing." On June 29,2021 I booked a weekend trip for August 17-19,2021 with Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line for my friend ******************* and myself to Celebrate ******************* birthday for total amount of $550.38 Booking ID #*******. she was coming from New York to visit for three weeks. However ******************* cancel the trip due to Covid 19. So therefore on August 3rd,2021 I called Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line and cancel our weekend trip. The agent I Spoke to advise me that because we canceling the trip the amount we will be refunded was only $301.38, because that was they rules.Since them I been calling Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line at *************** and every Single person I spoke to told me they will forward my request to the ********************* and I am still waiting to hear from them. I even left a message to a supervisor that I was Transferred to, still nothing. I send ******************* Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line telephone number with all the booking information and she also had the same Experience. All we want is to get our refund. I booked a cruise in May 2021. I cancelled it 2 weeks later due to everything going on with Covid/cruises unsure of departing, during that time. I still have not received my refund that they say they are "working on". I have called numerous times, they tell me they are working on it. My wife and I booked a cruise for our family that was scheduled with Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line for April 24-26, 2020, but the cruise line cancelled the cruise due to Covid. They offered us a full refund due to the cancellation of what we had paid in the amount of $1,066.08 and told us we would receive the refund within 90 days from when I requested the refund on August 12, 2020. We still have not received any of our money back despite many phone calls I have made to them. They have continued to tell me that they have run into problems in processing the refund to me due to complications with Covid and computer issues. Every time I have called them they have promised me a new date for the refund to be made, but they never follow through. On numerous occasions when I asked to speak to a supervisor, the representative told me it wasn't possible to transfer me to one. I would like my refund that they have continued to promise me from the cruise they cancelled but have failed to process.Initial Complaint

I booked a cruise with bahamas Paradise cruise line February 2020. My cruise got canceled due to Covid I paid $340 for my cruise and it got canceled. September 2021 I called about my cruise and I added my husband to my reservation had to pay $172 extra for him to come. They stated starting November 1, 2021 EVERYONE WILL BE ABLE TO SAIL AND THAT VACCINATIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED. I just had a baby my doctor said I can't get a vaccine as of yet for medical reasons... they cruise line cancelled my reservations charged me $100 for canceling because I wasn't fully vaccinated and I explained my reason why and they still didn't care I need my refund of $514.88 my hard earned money and they are saying I have to wait 3 ******* months to get a refund which is insane. The same way you didn't hesitate to take my money I need it back the same way. This cruise line is a ******* rip off and they don't want to give you your OWN money back it's sad I want my **** refund all of it ******* NOV 11-13
