On 17 Oct 22 Mr ********* evaluated two A/C chillers on my boat. One required replacement under warranty the other required a new chiller. I gave Mr ******************** a deposit for the parts of $8,723, which i was told would be refunded. Between then and 21 Sep 2023 Mr ******************** completed all the work. He refunded $3,500 of the deposit via check on 17 Aug 23 with a promise to refund the remainder on 5 Sep 23, which is when he said the manufacturer (Dometic) would send him the refund. Since then I have contacted ******************* for the refund via text, phone call and email with no success. He has said he would mail me the check over a month ago, Since he was out of town and said it was lost and offered to meet me today, 29 Feb 24 to give me the check. He did not show up and has not responded to phone calls or texts. He also said he would provide an invoice with the install dates so I will have a record for any future warranty claim. He had not provided that document either. Mr ******************** still owes me $3,223 of the deposit. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. I have the string of texts dating back to November of 2022 if you require them.Customer response

On 3/1/2024 the business issued me a check for the remainder of the owed refund. I am satisfied with the resolution of this issue.
