If you are thinking of buy a jacobson Mobile home. They do not want to repair any major defects. They only want to repair the minor things and act like they came out and repaired your home. If I could go back I would things very different. I would have never signed the dotted line before all things were repaired. I will not go into details about all the problems just beware of jacobsons.

If want to invest in a home dont go manufactured and dont buy through Jacobsen Homes. We were baited and switched. Sold the original one off the lot and it was sold even after we gave the required Down payment of $5,000. It took a year for a them to build it we were promised the extra refrigerator and never got it with that we had to go buy our stove top and microwave as they said they didnt have anymore. Took forever to get a new one built, set up and to complete the interior. After complaining to *********************************** he finally gave us an additional $500 to the $500 they wanted just give to find our own stove top and microwave. We had to install it ourselves. The deal was it would come just like what we purchased on the lot. Our place has many tears in the flooring, missing window *****, missing crown molding molding, cracks in the walls and ceiling, not leveled, windows crooked, outlets upside down/crooked, siding warped and now continuing after just about a year have cracks in the ceiling where two sections meet. Now that is took so long to get the 60 and 90 day repairs we are out of a one year warranty. Really one year. Mr. ********************** needs to view this place that his company built by apparently crack heads with the workmanship and the crack head sub contractors. Lets see if he would be acceptable with the work. I would never advise buying from ********************** or a manufactured home. Its our first and last. We paid $170,000 and now have to repair the ceiling ourselves. Just not right.

I bought this home Jacobson manufactured mobile home, May 2023. I couldn’t believe my eyes when we closed there was so many marks on the walls shoddy work counter had to be readjusted draws would not close, kitchen pipes under under sink not attached properly had flooding issues under sinks called Jacobson, they would send someone out. Another major sink blowout was pouring water down the drain and the pipe let loose. Totally unacceptable The work is horrible craftsmanship nothing they do not want to take ownership of anything they want to blame the mobile park management that is their issue because they sold it to me. They’ve built this house Jacobson they do horrible work.

Terrible company worse workmanship I have ever seen! No resolutions and/or response from dealership! Unable to try to fix or cover their poor work because it only opens up more poor craftsmanship. When they are confronted, they dont reply, or they tell me this is how we always do this If only I could post pictures! My shower insert is put in over drywall and not attached to studs! Making it impossible for me to tile around it!! And again no reply from Jacobsens as to a fix. Jacobsens is in my new home now taking down drywall because 2x6 was put on exactly one inch out from ceiling stud! All I hear is workers complaining about the poor quality of work! And to think of all the money I paid for a quality retirement home! I was ripped off and hate that I now am dealing with all this hardship! Company just doesnt care because they are paid in full before home is started, why do quality work if you get paid for crap?? Why fix something if its paid for being done as cheap as possible?? Why is this company not held responsible?? Ripping off so many people!

They use the cheapest junk they can buy. After 3 years everything is falling apart faucets, light switches (that have no boxes in the wall, screwed into the drywall) and cabinets coming apart. Once their dealers get your money there is no service. Saying it is a trailer would be an insult to trailers that are put together better.

we were happy with our home when we closed in 2016 and the initial follow up on a few issues were resolved BUT after hurricane *** we found out that they used staples instead of screws or nails to fasten the shingles and did not use enough fasteners on our siding which resulted in almost half of them blowing off. our hurricane windows and doors were not sealed properly so water blew in around the frames. the marriage line where the two parts of the house were put together leaked water into the house. we know it was a powerful hurricane but they had boasted about how well their homes performed in hurricanes and that simply was not true. our rear deck is sagging due to poor engineering and has to be re-done. we are repairing our house to be better than the one they built. BUYERS BEWARE! the house may look great but wont hold up like they say it will.
