Florida construction authority was the vendor for American Home Shield. On July14,2022 Florida construction authority installed my ac unit after rescheduling with me 4 times. After the unit was installed my house was still hot. They came back out and said my air ducts were bad. I had two other companies come to the house and they both said my air ducts are fine and that the unit had been installed completely wrong. I paid Florida construction **** to instal my unit. I have a contact directly with Florida construction authority (not American home shield since they do t cove installation) and I paid them to install my unit correctly which did not happen. When I called to ask them to install in correctly, **** the receptionist said ******* there tech has been fired for doing bad work and that **** would come and fix the problem. I had an apt with **** but he never showed up. Now the company will not answer the phone at all. This company is a SCAM and should be illegal. Check all of the reviews from this company! Now I have to pay **** to a real company to have my unit installed correctly

***************** statement is not entirely true,I received pics from gabe where he had been there before and the ductwork is messed up, ******* has been out there previously three times since the install from April not July. And also said the ductwork needs to be fixed ahs did not supply the proper hurricane pad and parts that was required. We offered to come out and get the estimate to see what we needed to fix her issues with said ********. Gabe  had a family emergency and had to leave town for ***** and didnt come back till Monday evening but as I stated we had already been out there 3 times with *******, and once with **** and I had Gabes pictures. Since the gabe was last out there in Aug of **************************************************** Thurs. as I stated we offered to get the est and fix it that was not good enough for her. She started demanding her money back and a bunch of other thangs.  All we did was the install no ductwork.

I am rejecting this response because: ************ did not install my unit correctly. I have a new estimate from a real company to instal the unit the correct way. It is not fair to me that I paid $1182 to have my unit installed and since they did not instal it correctly I have to pay again to have it installed. ************ is not taking any blame for what they did. The reason it took so long to reach back out is because they claimed my ductwork was bad so I had multiple estimates for ductwork to be replaced only to find out that the ductwork does not need to be replaced and that in fact the unit was installed incorrectly! If Florida Construction Authority LLC didnt have everything it needed to do the installation why would a licensed company do the work? I paid to have my unit installed and now I will have to pay again and seek legal retribution in court.

    Sincerely,

    ***********************

Ahs paid for the unit and through them she had to pay to install,we had numerous calls through AHS go back out there and check her ductwork each time it came back the same hard ductwork work is the reason for her unit not performing at its best. She needs to have her ductwork replaced. She refuses to acknowledge this and now after all this time blaming us for incorrect install.at any time I can post pictures and also the many many times we have been out there to address her situation through AHS recalls. Now she says shes not with ahs any longer and we installed her unit improperly. I do believe shes trying to scam somebody I get something for free then she threatened lawyer in court if we didnt have her unit installed properly last Friday, which was. 4th November.
