I am due to renew my certification with Health Sciences this year as a ************ Professional and have completed all the required continuing education credits for the past three years. I am unable to locate their website any more, they are not responding to email or phone messages on how I can submit this information.They have not sent any emails stating they are out of business or if they have relocated, sold ******* do I find out if my professional certification is now null and void?Initial Complaint

I have a certification with this organization that expires in January 2025. I went online to renew and encountered issues with their portal when it came to paying using my LLBean credit card for the $125 fee. It would freeze each time I entered the information on Dec 5th and 6th 2024. Their website does not provide a phone number and I sent several emails and rec'd automated replies that someone would call and have never heard back. I then went back to the website and found instructions to alternatively send a check which I did and mailed it Dec 6th. The check has not yet cleared. I did receive this automated message from them that they'd received my online renewal and that I'd get the certificate upon receipt of my mailed check to them. I have attached correspondence from them and my letter mailed Dec 6th with the check. Today, my LLBean credit card statement indicates that I was charged twice for the $125. Again, I am not able to contact them as they don't provide a phone number nor do they respond to my emails to their email **********************************Initial Complaint

I am trying to get my re-certification for my ************ Professional Health Coach (CCP), as it is due for renewal every 3 years and I have held the credential since 2012. I completed the application and submitted all the necessary documentation. The company took the fees in June, and I have not received any receipts, my updated certificate, nor any response to NUMEROUS inquiries.This is my last email to this company yesterday:Please send my certificate ****. I need it for my position, I sent in the application and the $125.00 three months ago, although I had not received a reminder notification. You retrieved the money from my **** acct. in June...(my expiration date: July). I can't imagine why this would take so long. Unfortunately no one returns my calls with the numerous messages I have left; nor do I receive any responses to my emails or to my completed support forms I have submitted over the past several weeks.Initial Complaint

On 05/31/2024, I completed my ***************** Professional) recertification on line with HealthSciences Institute (HSI) located in **************, ** on website www.healthsciences,org and paid the recert fee with my credit card of $125.00 but due to technical difficulty it did not go thru. I made several try's to complete my recert application on line but each time it failed. I checked my credit card account and discovered my credit card transaction's did go thru to HSI. I had a total of 3 transactions paid to HSI of $125.00 charge on 5/31, and two charges of $125.00 on 6/3/24 but had no email confirmation or receipt from HSI stating they received my application with payment for *** recertification. I submitted multiple on line notification's re my concerns to HSI support team. I called HSI directly on ************ but unable to s/w anyone. When calling you have to leave message or instructed to email. I was given a point of contact **** at HSI and sent her an email re my *** concerns. I received two emails from **** on 6/5/2024 and 6/6/2024 acknowledging my concerns, an apology and reported a request was sent to IT for reimbursement, and working on getting help with the *** certificates. On June 6, 2024 *** confirmed two charges were refunded back to me. My credit card did show a $250.00 credit from HSI on 6/6/2024. Since then I have not received any further email notifications or call's from HSI regarding my *** recertification. My recertification required nursing education hours in addition to paying the $125.00 recert fee which I completed and submitted both on line to HSI on 5/31/2024. I have my emails tracking the number times I have tried to reach out to HSI support team and Ms. **** re status of my recertification application and certificate concerns. I have left voice messages with request for call back, but as of today 08/19/2024 no response from HSI or Ms. **** nor have I received my re certification certificate.Initial Complaint

In April 2024, I paid via credit card for my CCP recertification. I was charged the $125.00 but have never received the updated certificate. At the time of submission the system message was that there was an error and it was unable to process. But the charge did appear on my credit card statement. I have tried numerous times to contact *** via their website, sending emails and calling the listed number. I have yet, to receive any acknowledgement of those messages. I filled a complaint with the BBB in ******* as the address listed for *** is in *******. My complaint was transferred to the BBB in ********. The original complaint was closed due to me not responding via email within a certain amount of days. I did email and ask that the case remain open as I still hadn't received a resolution. Yesterday, I resubmitted my recertification request through the *** but choose payment by check. The system was able to process but will not send certificate until check is received. Today, I resubmitted for recertification and choose to pay by credit card. AS with the first time in April, the system wasn't able to process. Not sure yet, if I was charged for the second time. This company cannot be reached by there stated contact methods and it appears their computer system isn't able to process a customers recertification but is able to process credit card payments. For a resolution, I would like my updated CCP certificate emailed to me, ASAP, the certificate I paid for two mths ago. If I was charged again, today, I am requesting a refund and more than anything, this business and their business practices needs to be investigated. Accepting payments, but not delivering what the customer paid for and not being able to be contacted, is suspicious of theft and fraud at this point.Initial Complaint

The Health Sciences Institute offers certifications programs for health coaching. I certified initially with them in 2017 and re-certified in 2020. I recently just attempted to re-certify again and after put my payment information in and hit enter, the screen went blank. I have attempted to call them and e-mail them as well. Several other employees that I work with have attempted and were charged payment, but have not heard anything back or received receipt of payment like I didn't. No one answers the phone. I have left several voice mails and no reply.Customer Answer
