I'm a landlord, and over time I have used a few different appliance stores similar to American Appliance. But I always go to AA first because I like them best. The owners are good people, and they always fix problems. I've only had one problem, and they sent an amazing technician to fix it. That was two years ago; never another issue with that appliance. I know Realtors who also come here, and I've turned a few friends on to them too. They're a great company.

Do NOT use this company!! Rhonda T. at American Appliance is extremely, extremely rude. I rent my property and the microwave went out. The protocol is for my landlord to contact them so that a work order can be placed--which he did. Ronda told me they were backed up and that she would call me if they had an opening for someone to come out. I was extremely patient during this process. I called again the following week to see when a service technician would be out and I was informed she had not talked to my landlord yet. That was a lie, because she told me she talked to him and put me on the on-call list (??) We went through this all over again with the landlord back and forth business. She finally called to say someone will be out next Thursday. Thursday come and American Appliance called to say they would be on the way shortly. I let them in..they were there for about an hour. That was over a week ago. I called today to follow up and was informed by Rhonda that she needed to talk to my landlord. What a joke. She talked over me, told me to be quiet and listen to her and was very adamant that no one from their company came to my home. At that point I hung up and called the police to make a report that there was someone impersonating American Appliance in home for over an hours. Rhonda said she had no record of them coming out. She then called back and said yes, they had been out and I needed parts ordered. Mind you, I recorded her for the last 4 calls because she is extremely rude. I said an apology would be nice and she said she doesn't owe me an apology and went on to tell me I was being aggressive and that my landlord will be notified they will not do business with me. I have her on record and I will post the audio. She said I cursed out her staff when in fact she was the only one that I dealt with. Tiffany only answered the phone. Mike the owner was very dismissive as well. He was uninterested and didn't want to hear about my complaints regarding Rhonda T.. It must be his wife or a family member. Do not use this company. Look at other reviews of their lack of customer service. Rhonda T. will bring their company down with her horrible customer service.
