    We booked this hotel coming from out of town and did not check in due to the location. The location was very dangerous. People where doing drugs on the property and we did not feel safe. We placed a call to the front desk and made them aware. We asked if we could cancel the reservation and get refunded because we did not step foot into the lobby. The pictures online did not match what we arrived to. There where towels hanging in the window and property was disgusting. They refused to refund us after they told us we much contact expedian. After speaking to expedian they told us we had to speak with the motel. After speaking with a manager they told us we had to go to the front desk. When we called from the parking lot they did not tell us that.

    I'm a labile diabetic we( my wife, son, daughter and myself) checked in on Sept. 30 2022 around 230pm we had been without power for 3 days which is why we ended up here at Budget inn. So when we checked in I told the mgr then I was diabetic needed a room with a fridge so I could cool my insulin it was starting to warm so we got a room for 2 days and was able to cool my insulin for 3 hours then the whole hotel lost power. And was off until 4am I asked for a refund as soon as the power went out and was told no one could do it, only the manager, so this morning (10-1-22) I went to talk to the mgr about replacing the day, not the 600. Dollars I'm going have to pay because my insulin went bad and I have no choice but to replace it, it's life or death with this medicine. So the mgr said I couldn't get a refund, nor would they give me another day even though our power was out for almost 11 hours. What really upset me is the mgr then decided to tell me I was on the don't rent too list because she said I stayed there in December of 21 and damaged property and drug paraphernalia, I then told her there's no way this is my first trip in my Life to St Petersburg and I've never stayed here. So it bothered me that she( mgr) would make up such a thing. So I called the non emergency number to the police to see what options I have so I went back to the office asked the mgr if she made a copy of this person that she said was me and I also told her(mgr) I was ob the phone with the police to see what options I have in clearing my name bc it wasn't me. She then started yelling saying " I ain't talking to no police, why did you get them involved, I tried to tell her bc your saying I did this here this past December and I can prove it wasn't me" I then asked her if this person had a driver's license when they checked in this past December she said yes I handed her my driver's license and showed her I just got my driver's license back in June of 22. She knew it wasn't me.

    A reservation was made through a company called Hotel Reservations to a hotel called Budget *****/23/22. I expressly asked if this was a nice, clean hotel in a good area and was assured it was. When I got there and got my room key we went in and there was a huge tear in the bedspread, the toilet didn't work at all, there was a pubic hair on the bed pillow and the room was just nasty! We immediately went back downstairs and gave ******** our keys, told her of our complaints and asked for our money back. She was horribly rude and said no refund and good luck getting another room at this time of night. I immediately called Hotel Reservations who i had unknowingly made the reservation through and also told them of our complaints and that we had turned in our keys and weren't staying. They gave me a case number H5357956 and said they would have the money refunded in 5-7 days. I called today, 8/5/22 to inquire why my money had not been refunded and they said my request had been denied because ******** said we had stayed that night. The employee I spoke to agreed after reading the notes that he knew we hadn't but said the had already paid the hotel so the refund has to come from them. This is a terrible, cheating scam. The hotel ONLY takes Reservations through this company and customers don't even know they have been transferred to this company. I need Budget Inn to refund my $ ****** they have stolen.
