I brought my BMW in for an air bag recall. The service representative asked if I had other concerns about the vehicle and I stated that there is an oil leak, and the tire waring light does not turn off even though I had it serviced recently. He said that for them to look at each it would be $189 to look at the oil leak and $189 to look at the tire pressure/issue. I was like wow that's a lot for just looking. I told them to go ahead and look. So, there was another item on the receipt that stated, "Perform Complimentary BMW Multi-Point Inspection". When I asked what was included in the "Complimentary Inspection" I was met with no response. So, if I had not said anything I would not be paying $447.19 for really nothing... The quote for fixing the oil leak was much higher than another shop that I checked so I declined the service. I was told the tire pressure light was because it was low on air in one tire, and it was fixed. So, I pay, get in my car to drive home and there's a very loud noise. I turn around wondering what the heck they did to my car. They tell me they bent a piece of metal when putting tire back on, so they just bent it back. Like really, this is a BMW dealer (high quality, high priced)? I noticed that the car pulls now to the right and even more when breaking. This problem did not exist before taking it to their shop. So, there was absolutely no Quality Assurance. I feel like i was ripped off $447 for nothing and now have another issue with my car! It was just an air bag recall, right? What a racket!
