Level Up Auto sales is fraud. I purchased a **** from them recently. Upon test driving it I could smell a burning smell. They told me theyd check it out and fix it no problem. I asked them to check the car out for any other issues. They attempted to let me drive it home with that issue and complete bald tires. I told them it wasnt safe and left the vehicle with them to replace the tires and check it over. A few days later They told me nothing was wrong with the jeep and I could take it home. I again asked are you sure you checked it over and nothing was wrong. I was again told it was just fine. Upon driving it home over the skyway bridge I quickly realized something wasnt right. It was shaking like crazy and rattling. I had my mechanic check it out right away. The front and rear brakes and rotors were bad, the front passenger tire rod was bad, there was no front shocks, the motor mount was broke, and the tires were never balanced and aligned. I have tried reaching out by phone and email several times over the past month and they make excuses and tell me a manager will call me back. At one point they told me to send them the detailed bill from the mechanic and wed discuss a compromise, but yet again no one has gotten back to me. $3000 worth of safety issues and they wont help at all!!!!

I purchased a car from them in August of 2024 and traded in a vehicle a 2012 ******* ******. I did not receive my tag until the end of September. They attempted to keep my old tag on the ******* ****** and was very indignant when I asked for it to be returned so that I could return it back to the irs. So today Nov. 2 2024, I received a letter that states that the ******* ****** that is still apparently registered to me, which it should not be, has been impounded and a lien has been placed on me for the car that I no longer have. So now, I am on the hook for over a thousand dollars that I do not have because I just purchased a car from them. I called the car lot to get information and was met with an indignant attitude and no answers. I need help because I cannot afford a lien nor can I afford to get this car out of impound because of this new car payment. This has been a terrible car buying experience. I even gave them the original title and the car is still coming up in the system as my name. I need help because the car will be sold in October and a hold fee of 35 dollars per day.

I purchased a vehicle in April 2024 from Level Up Auto. Unfortunately, my car was totaled because it was flooded from the recent hurricane. I am now going through the insurance process of settling my financial obligations on the car. I contacted my Gap insurer, only to be notified that Level ******* did not honor their obligations by funding my contract. I immediately contacted them on October 3rd and was told that this will be dealt with. One week later, I called my Gap insurer only to be told that my contract was still not funded. I have been trying to get these people by phone for the last few days and no response. I have sent them emails and still no response. I just need for Level Up Auto to settle any outstanding issues with my Gap insurer so that I don't have to deal with them anymore!

    Complaint: 22430024

I am rejecting this response because:

I purchased a 2019 **** Fiesta from Level Up Auto in April 2024. Unfortunately, my car was totaled in September during a hurricane. I reached out to my insurance company and they subsequently settled my claim. I also reached out to my GAP insurer, only to find out that my GAP contract was not funded. After a number of back and forth, Level Up finally made the payment to my GAP insurer for my claim to be processed. Fast forward a few weeks later, when I made checks on my GAP application, I was told it was denied. When I spoke to a manager from *** as to why my claim was denied, I was advised that the dealer (Level Up) need to settle warranty amounts on the vehicle of approximately $1700 plus. I have also spoke with the warranty company and they confirm that they are to pay over the same outstanding amount to my lien holder. I have been reaching out to Level Up Auto from November 26th by sending several emails and phone call and I have not received a response to date. A member of the company's team reached out to ***** regarding the issue and he responded that the matter has been resolved. I have asked for proof of this and this is yet to be received. I am now left with having to continue paying for a car that is totaled. I am at my wits end, as I don't know what else to do other than come to this platform to seek redress. I look forward to hearing their response as to why this matter is yet to be resolved. Seeking refund.

    Sincerely,

    ****** South ********

My white **** F150 was on consignment with level up auto and sold in June 2024 for $25,000. Each time I call them to ask them if and when they are going to pay my lienholder, I get lies. They told me that they have sent in two checks, and the bank wouldnt except the first one. When I spoke with my bank, they have not received any checks from level up. When I went there last weekend, they said that they cannot write a check and that only the owner could when I asked to speak with the owner they told me that he would be back at 7:30 P.m. And that I could come back then after they closed. I asked to speak with him on the phone and they said he was on international travel which doesnt make sense. I called the police and they had a conversation with the manager. However, they were still unwilling and or unable to write me a check for the amount that they owe me or wire transfer it to my bank or return my truck.

There was never a $3,076 refund payment made toward the loan.

Bought a car last year off them and have yet to receive tag after a year. They still dont have the title / didnt transfer title to my auto loan company. They took the money from my auto loan without ever transferring ******. I cant drive the car since I have no tag and its been like this for over a year. They always tell me they will fix it and never have. The owner ***** nor his partner answer my calls and they dont answer my financing company either. They are knowingly committing fraud as I have told them but they seem to not care.

The dealership accepted a trade in vehicle and failed to pay the loan balance to the lien holder. The transaction was September 2023. As of March 2024, the lien holder hasn't been paid.

Date of Vehicle Purchase: 11/16/2023;Date of Transaction: 11/25/2023 for the Tag;My 18-year-old daughter and I purchased a 2013 ***** 3 at $6k Out-The-Door which includes dealer fees, tax and tag. The deal was made over the phone with owner from the ************** location and the car was transported to *******. They were not happy she financed the car with ********************* rather than with them directly from the beginning. Few days later, my daughter was advised the tag was ready for pick up at the ******* location and would cost an additional $228 although it was already included in the $6k *** price. When we pick up the tag and asked why she is being double charged, he advised us they paid over $360 for the registration and tag, which in Hillsborough County ******* its only $225. Upon requesting proof, ***** (salesmen) refused to show us proof and became very unprofessional and irate with us. He also threw in our face that at the point of purchase we signed a document that states we are responsible for the tag when it comes in but at the day of purchase, he advised us it was mandatory for us to sign for DMV purposes and he understood it was already included in the *** price of $6K. We were tricked! He knew exactly what he was doing!Out the Door means everything is included. They knew this was my daughters first vehicle so they were well aware this was a first time registration. We are not asking for reimbursement on the 4 new tires or the tune up we had to give it right after purchase since the tires were bald, the oil was black and it didn't have enough coolant. That's completely on us since we are women that don't know much about what to look for in vehicles! We are only asking for the $228 for tag that we should have never had to pay since the purchase price was 6K ***!We made several attempts to contact the owner at the ************** location and we are just placed on hold and either hung up on or told we would get a call back and we never do.

I am rejecting this response because: We have provided a Text to BBB from your sales man that the $6k was an Out The Door price for the vehicle and it included Registration and Title. Upon signing any paperwork we were advised it was understood that the $6k OTD price included the Registration and that paperwork was for DMV purposes. Are you struggling that bad that you have to rip off an 18 year old for $225? A deal is a deal and should have enough integrity to follow through with what you promise. We were lied to and we want our money back!!

I bought a jeep wrangler in June from level up auto sales and had issues with the vehicle. After talking to the dealership they agreed to meet me half way with the repairs. They put a temp tag on the vehicle and let it expire over 30 days before sending me another temp tag and now that one has been expired since beginning of September. Every time I talk to someone they're going to send me a new tag but never do. I constantly get the run around something about my title and not able to get me a tag at the moment. I just want my permanent tag so that I can drive my vehicle that I have been paying for since June and every time I call they give me the run around and say someone is going to call back but never does.

We are actively working on getting the vehicle registered. As we have let the customer know, there was a title correction to be done, as soon as we have it completed it will be finalized here for her shortly.
