    On June 15, 2022, we placed a deposit of $1,126.81 for a reservation for June 08, 2023. The hurricane destroyed the Waterside Inn in September. We have made numerous attempts to contact Waterside Inn, but have received no response. We would like a refund.

    On January 7, 2022, we paid $717.80 to confirm our reservation at Waterside Inn for a gulf view cottage for 2 adults for January 9, 2023, to January 13, 2023. We recognize the devastation of Hurricane *** has precluded their ability to provide such accommodation. We have attempted in a variety of ways to contact Waterside in order to make arrangements for reimbursement but have had NO responses. We will gladly supply a current credit card number when needed. A receipt can be sent under separate cover if requested

    I booked a stay with Waterside Inn on Aug 14th 2022 for a stay Dec. 29-Jan 5th. Of course there was the natural disaster. Since then I have reached out to them multiple times regarding a refund. In Oct. they were communicating with me and stating it would be the end of Oct. Since then they have stopped responding to messages and emails. I have reached out to other people on their ******** page asking about refunds as well, since doing this they are blocking comments from ******** posts. Please help contact this business regarding refunds.

    I am seeking a refund of my deposit . I made a reservation to stay in their resort in June 0f 2022. The reservation was for January 2, 2023 to February 2, 2023. I gave them my credit card for the initial deposit of $4,370.54. According to their posted cancellation policy I am eligible for a full refund if I cancel at least 30 days prior to my check in date. I contacted them on October 12, 2022 canceling my reservation. I was told that because of the hurricane they were having difficulty processing all the cancellations and refunds but that ***** would be reaching out to me soon. I tried to contact them again on October 26th to check on the status of my refund and got no response. I tried again on November 29th and got a response from them asking for my telephone number. I provided my number as requested the same day. I have still not heard back from them. I have tried calling them on the telephone but all numbers are no longer in service. The only way I have been able to communicate with them has been via ******** messenger. I certainly understand the challenges they must be facing recovering from the hurricane, but I really need to get my refund back especially now with Christmas on a couple of weeks away. If you have any recommendations as to how I should proceed I would greatly appreciate your help.Thank You *************************

    The Waterside Inn has charged my credit card for reservation 5444R775 for two nights of stay - October 8th and 9th, 2022. I have emailed and called numerous times have received absolutely no response to my request for a credit of $564.20.I find it unconscionable that my card was charged for the second night AND I received an email welcoming me to The Waterside Inn on Wednesday, October 5th, when unfortunately, Hurricane *** rendered the island uninhabitable days earlier. No service has been rendered. I did not cancel my reservation, Hurricane *** did. I am not a property owner on ******* Island and therefore had no access to the island. At the time of my reservation, **************** designated the island as uninhabitable.When attempting to contact them by phone (once again) the message I received was that the number is not in service. I will continue to contact them by email.

    Good afternoon.  I have reached out to my CC company and my account was credited for the charges.

     

    I did not receive a call, email or communication of any kind from Waterside Inn.  However, I did receive an email from the hotel 3 days after *** hit letting me know they were looking forward to my visit.  Very poor customer service on their part - to this day I have not received any communication from them.

     

    Thank you for your assistance and effort in trying to resolve this matter and continuing to reach out to the hotel.
