This business cannot be trusted. Went there a year ago for Mercedes oil change. Went home with almost $3000.00 they felt the car needed to run. My husband was furious. We did not get anything done that they suggested and the car ran fine. Had no intention of ever going back, but one week after my husband passed, my car wouldn’t start. I had it towed to my mechanic he did a diagnostic test no charge and said it was electrical steering lock. They did not have the software to fix it. Desperate to get it fixed I towed it to Elite. Big, big, big mistake. They had to do two diagnostic tests at $234.00 a pop. Bill is @ at $500.00 now. Then suggested a fuse box which would cost me $850.00 I was told. Was not told that didn’t include labor or more parts. Car still didn’t start. Then they wanted to put in a power starter which would cost me $3000.00. I said NO and my bill was $1500.00 for a car that won’t start. Had it towed to another auto shop and they did a diagnostic test and said it was the electrical steering lock. Ordered part and it was fixed. The second shop did not charge for the diagnostic either. I feel I should be refunded for the two diagnostics and only be charged the $850.00 that they said was the cost of the fuse.

Dear Mrs. H you for sharing your feedback with us. I want to express my sincerest apologies for the frustration you've experienced, and I truly regret that the situation has caused you distress. We understand how disappointing it can be when expectations are not met, and Id like to address the concerns you've raised.
From the beginning, our goal was to provide thorough and accurate diagnostics for your vehicle. At every stage, we asked for your approval before moving forward with any work, and we were transparent about the costs involved. On multiple occasions, when we recommended further diagnostic testing to properly identify the issue, you approved the new total, and the details of those charges were clearly communicated to you.
Unfortunately, despite our attempts to continue working on your vehicle and complete the necessary repairs, you chose to take it elsewhere. This prevented us from resolving the electrical steering lock issue or completing the repairs as planned. It is important to note that at no point did we refuse to assist or provide the needed services we were prepared and willing to move forward with the work once we had your approval.
Upon further investigation, we also discovered evidence that the vehicle had been jump started incorrectly (backwards). This is a critical factor that contributed to the issue you were experiencing. Unfortunately, this action may have complicated the situation further, making it harder to resolve without completing additional diagnostic steps.
While we understand that you sought a second opinion and the issue was ultimately resolved, we believe that our shop could have provided the necessary solution had we been given the opportunity to finish the work. It was unreasonable to remove the vehicle before we could complete the repairs, especially when we had made it clear that the situation required further diagnostic work.
We take pride in delivering high-quality service and customer care and strive for nothing less. That said, we do appreciate your feedback, as it helps us to continuously improve our processes.KH

The question is why did two auto mechanics diagnose with one diagnostic test and knew what was wrong? Elite had to do two tests and charge for both and still did not have an answer to what was wrong. Terrible business.Review fromLinda

This place is a rip off. I went in because my coolant system was leaking. They gave me a diagnosis test for $189.00 . Then proceeded to tell me it was over . $3,000 to fix it. Im a recent widow woman. They said they would give me a discount, for $1,900. I looked up the parts and price of labor. They still ripped me off. I repeat dont go to this place for any car repairs.Elite Motor Works LLC

*****************,
Thank you for your input. We take negative comments very seriously as we are always looking to improve our customers experience. Ive researched the repairs we performed on your 2011 Audi in October of 2023. I would like to provide some more information as it appears we failed to properly communicate our process to you. For that, I take full responsibility.
You brought us your vehicle to diagnose a problem of low coolant and your radiator fans running after the engine was shut off. Our certified technician scanned your vehicle for faults, filled your cooling system with new coolant, performed a pressure test and inspected for a leak. ************** found a significant leak coming from a broken coolant pipe that connects the upper radiator hose to the engines cylinder head. Further visual inspections found previous repair attempts from another shop that used electrical tape to hold coolant hoses together. These pictures were sent to you with *********** order for your reference. We are a quality shop, and we know these cars very well. Due to the weak plastic parts of the cooling system and our history with these cars, we recommend replacing the broken pipe, along with the expansion tank, expansion tank hoses, Radiator hose and flushing out the old coolant and fill with new. This estimate was $1,514.61 plus our diagnosis fee and taxes which you approved. At this time, we also performed a complementary full digital inspection of your vehicle. We sent you the full report including pictures and descriptions of your vehicles condition. In this report we recommend several repairs and maintenance that you declined. And thats ok, we understand working with a budget is important and fixing your leaking cooling system was the correct action as it is the most important. After fixing the broken pipe and installing the new hoses and expansion tank, we performed another pressure test to verify our work and to confirm no other issues. Its in your best interest that we check this now, otherwise another issue *** leave you stranded, and we dont want that. During the second pressure test, we found a much smaller coolant leak that is very difficult to see as it comes from between the supercharger and the top of the engine. This leak was impossible to find during our initial pressure testing due to the severity of the original broken hose. At this time, our tech recommended more parts to be replaced, like the thermostat and other parts associated with the thermostat. The intake manifold and supercharger are removed to access the thermostat and therefore it is also very labor intensive. This job estimate is $1816.71. We know youre working with a limited budget, and we know youve had some hard times recently, that I wont disclose here. As a result,we wanted to help you in any way we could, so we provided a discount of almost $1,800.00. Plus, we let you use the $79.00 off coupon you brought us. We feel we went above and beyond with you, and were shocked that you are providing this negative feedback and indicating we are a rip off. Reviews like this affect our business, our team, and our community. We do everything in our power to provide top level service. I know were not perfect, but we truly care for our clients and our team. As I stated at the beginning of this response, I feel we must not have communicated all this to you effectively and for that I will discuss with my team on how to better communicate with our clients. Id be happy to discuss any concerns you have via phone or in person. Im asking you to please remove this review as I feel its not fair. Thank you.

I still would not like to remove my comments. You had my car for a week. If you had just did the job at the time. And not made it so unconventional for me. I m sorry you feel that its not fair . But is it fair for you to inconvenience me with a widow woman, that has to work part time to make ends meet. To say the day before I picked my car up, . It is ***** to fix my car. Really. And you didnt even show up when I picked up my car. You had your mechanic there for me to sign the papers. He wont even look me in the face. So if you want me to remove my comment. Send me a refund. I found that I dont need most of the repairs you suggested. . You should be ashamed of yourselfs.Review fromN. M.

I think this business running without price list demanding their diagnostic first, I haven't asked for any diagnostic i have ask a simple question how much it coast for specific job they refuse to answer my question witch is totally unprofessional, every business usually have a price list Oil change $50 -$100 , Brake pads replacement $300 .... NOT knowing the price or hiding the price from costumer is very bad reputation for business!!! Every business has to have price list so the customer have to choose who has the best offer -price. I think this busines need to be rated C not A. Also this business need to put price list like every other business.Elite Motor Works LLC

We strive to provide accurate and fair pricing for our customers. We understand her concern about not having a specific price list for certain services, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify our approach.
Our commitment to quality service means that we prefer to assess each vehicle individually to provide the most accurate estimate. This ensures that our certified technicians can thoroughly evaluate the extent of the issue, identify any additional issues that *** be present, and provide them with a comprehensive and accurate quote. This is often not possible to do over a phone conversation.
While we *** not have a fixed price list for every repair,we believe in transparency and will always discuss and explain our pricing before proceeding with any repairs. This approach allows us to tailor our services to their specific needs and ensure that they only pay for the necessary work.
We understand that having clear pricing information is important for our customers, and we do have fixed prices for common services such as oil changes, ***** services, Filters etc. We apologize if this information was not conveyed effectively during our conversation. Moving forward, we will work to improve our communication and ensure that customers are aware of our pricing structure.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, if you need any other information please dont hesitate to reach out. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,

Thank you for clarification, the reason I have been triggered is the person on the phone was insisting on diagnostic first and diagnostic cost $165.00 which I have done with my personal diagnostic tools I havent asked for diagnostic I asked how much is approximate charge for oil pan gasket replacement the question was very clear approximate charge not final amount Your business is not the only one, I have called few more and they also said the same thing , diagnostic first even I havent ask for diagnostic, if I have to pay diagnostic in 5 (x $165.00) places to get a price for oil gasket replacement then I spent half of the amount of coast-just on diagnostic Transparency and honesty is the key for running the business and customer satisfaction, if any business avoiding to answer simple question to customer make customer think something nefarious is going on .I havent asked for final price just approximate price, you mention oil change has a fix price , every component on car should have main price and the numbers can add up if more things have been done. Thats the whole point Im talking about.
