On February 6, 2024 I called Mr. ********************** to help install a shower door. I was told that the minimum house call is a flat $175 one person. It was an hourly rate after the first hour of service and the specific service provided. If two people were needed I was told it was $350 for the first hour. I agreed to these terms. When I showed up to pay the handyman, *************************, he charged me $377.00. I asked him why the bill was so high because there was only him who showed up to install the door. He noted that he spoke with the office manager and said he could do it as a one person job. I had a list of items that I asked him to look at. One was a 4 inch crack that I asked him to caulk. I noted that I had caulk and if he could just perform the service that I would appreciate it. He noted that he couldn't use my caulk and that he had one in the van - for such a small job that he would just take care of it. He looked at a broken window took pictures of it for me and said he would get back with me on how to get it fixed. When **** presented the bill he said he was doing me a favor by not charging me the full amount and that I was quoted $350 and he was only charging me $321.00 to install the door - I was not aware of the additional charge of $40 for the caulking until I called the office manager and asked why the bill was so high. There was not pre-discussion for the charge for the caulking service (which took less than 5 minutes to perform and if I had known that it was going to cost me $40 I would have said no to the service). I paid the amount with the expectations that he would be back to fix the window. I have called and spoke to the office manager, I have asked for a receipt (which I was not provided at the time of service), I have requested for the owner of the Mr. ********************** Sarasota to reach out to me to rectify. I have not received a receipt or phone call or any other communication from this company.

We reached out to *********************** and settled her issue. We took responsibility for poor communication from our office and technicians side concerning the final cost utilizing 1 technician for 2 hours versus the original 2 technicians for 1 hour.
