On July I agreed to have work done on my property by this company, paid **** gown which was required, he worked his about 8 hours and dropped off a load of dirt and graded . Has done nothing since, cant get my money back after several text and phone calls , he dose nothing but lie to us . This problem will escalate to much more if I dont receive my money.Business Response

We are sorry you are dissatisfied ********************. We delivered 20 yrds of dirt on July 12th 2024, installed the soil & graded the area w/ our Skid Steer approx 3 days later. Once completed we were trying to bring in the 2nd load of dirt but Tropical ********************* prevented us from doing so in a reasonable amount of time. We kept you up to date and reassured you that everything would be completed as soon as things dried out and our supplier was able to start loading soil again. The ground was saturated. We tried our best to complete your project in a timely manner but weather prevented us from doing so. Unfortunately since you were unwilling to wait, due to the circumstances we decided to cancel the completion of your project. Your 50% down payment went to removing the existing grass, delivering & installing the 1st round of dirt. A total of 16 man hrs.

I am rejecting this response because:
First ****** told us that we needed to pay half down which we did right away on July 3rd and he said the job would be completed in a week. Did not see or hear back from *** until I texted him on July 11th said sod looked good should be able to get job done by 14th. Came out to spray weeds (something we didnt even ask for) on the 11th then again on 13th. He pushed back date, we didnt get a choice. I texted wanting to know when starting ****** said dirt would be dumped on 15th. Waited and waited finally dirt came on 17th. I texted again on 18th where was he when would he be out was told 20 or 21 again we didnt get a choice he didnt show up till 22nd. Did start working on yard till approximately 10:50 am took a lunch around 2:25-3:30 was done by 4:30. Had another worker with him that did some racking and tilling but seem to mostly walk around. They damaged three trees and put a hole in new concrete. Came by next day and racked for about ***** minutes, got his equipment and left. Said it needed a day or two with no rain before could put down sod( dont know why would think the sod would like wet ground) July 26 texted again when are you laying sod was told nursery wasnt cutting sod til Monday. July 29th texted ****** a few times asking him t call me finally said he would later in afternoon still nothing so texted again at 7:30 pm to call me, heard nothing. July 30th texted again to call me, got no response. Wednesday July 31 texted him again early morning finally heard back later afternoon he said was scheduling more dirt and everything would be done to our satisfaction. Even said he would see if another guy could do the dirt work. We told him we were disappointed so far. Waited and waited again, ***** hear back until we texted him again on Aug 2 about if his friend was coming he finally text back wont and pushed it back again to Thursday or Friday of the next week. This would make it a months times when we were told it would be completed in a week. If he stayed working on our job instead of going to others it could have all been for before the ********************* came through. So now another delay. Texted Aug 7th he said they werent loading dirt till Monday the 12th. But each day I have been seeing dump trucks hauling dirt and sod trucks out on the roads. Sunday we tell him want job complete the coming week, of course we dont hear from him. Monday 12 texted him again, ****** said was checking to see if they are loading dirt yet ( mind you enough dirt should have been ordered the first time because we only received 1 truck load which I have been told would only carry approximately ***** yards of dirt not 20 as stated by ******) why this wasnt done I dont know. I told him I was tired of excuses that I wanted the job completed or refund my money. He chose to cancel the job, but not refund my money. Nothing about this job was satisfactory, we were as patient as any person could be but only up to a point can you can wait and wait when you were told it would be done in a week and we could see a few days delay for rain but not over a month.

The company is a ******************* we hired to fix our backyard. They were supposed to lay sod, level our yard and under our fencing. The job was what the call completed on Saturday 6/1/24. We paid a total amount of $1856.00. We ended up with a lake in our backyard, yard definitely is not level and sod is not under the fence. Sod is dead in a lot of the areas. We have now had to hire another company to come out and the have to fix what they should have done correctly the first time. This is now costing us another $4000.00 because now they have to take up the sod Zimmermans laid, bring in more dirt, replace sod that has died due to the flooding and the areas that we dead when placed incorrectly. If need to I can provide pictures of what the yard looks like.Business Response

Good afternoon,We apologize that you are unsatisfied with our work. We strive to satisfy all our customers. Our company was hired to add 3 of Command soil to (2) separate square sections totaling approx 400 sq ft where the previous owner had a garden of some sort. Upon arrival we installed 3 of Command soil, installed 1 pallet of Floratam St. Augustine sod & rolled the sod upon completion to ensure good root to ground contact. We then proceeded to level the mounded/raised areas underneath the new 4 aluminum fence that was installed by a fence company. We then laid approximately 200 sq ft of Floratam sod underneath the 4 aluminum fence to fix the mounded/raised areas. Upon completing the project we then set the customers irrigation control box to the proper watering schedule for the new sod areas to water 30 min in the am & 30 min in the pm. We then explained to the customer that following the proper watering schedule is crucial. We provided the customer with an irrigation check to make sure all sprinklers/zones were working, correct pressure, and proper coverage.
