Like other complaints here, I too have left a message to cancel/reschedule an appointment (as there is never a human to pick up on the line patients are given to contact, if they need to cancel/reschedule) - and was then charged for missing the appointment. I did call the number given to reschedule more than 48 hrs, I did leave my name, ***, provider's name, and that I needed to reschedule. Just like other people's experience , nothing was done and I was charged for missing the appointment too. What else... where to begin! Its always something with Comp Medpsych. I'm on my 3rd ** this year because the other two suddenly quit. Second one without notifying me, which caused a lapse in medications, some of which i'm not supposed to suddenly quit - I wound up hospitalized. Now I understand they have a new system - but they are unable to submit prior authorization requests for me. I see another provider who is an addiction specialist, and I am getting in trouble with them because I am not testing positive for my medications I'm perscribed. Unfortunately the reason is because the pharmacy requires prior authorization, and the provider - comp medpsych - has not submitted any for my medication per my insurance & the pharmacy. Comp medpsych has been a regular source of obstacles and barriers to treatment for me. I want to explore options to one medication which is a schedule 2 ; but those options require prior authorization. I want to complete my addiction specialist treatment program, but to do so, I need to test positive for medications which require prior authorization to be filed. If i'm not able to come to a resolution soon, the clearest path to treatment is to leave Comp Medpsych. The best way to complete my addiction treatment program ? its to leave Comp Medpsych. No wonder both my prior doctors at Comp Medpsych quit... I have a follow up for medications I was supposed to receive 2 months ago, I will use this time to implore my ** to leave Comp Medpsych as well.

After reviewing the client's complaint and chart, he was never billed for a Missed Appointment Fee. In fact, the client has an outstanding balance of $591 to date by way of copays for each office visit. When a clinician leaves our practice, patients are notified by mail. There are two different addresses on file for this patient. One in ********** and the other in *****. Unfortunately, once letters are mailed we have no control over the postal service. We have *** working on the prior authorization requests for the patient and will get that completed once the clinician has signed off. Unfortunately, we've had two back-to-back hurricanes hit the area so many clinicians and staff have been affected. If Mr. ******* has any other questions or concerns he can reach out to the office at ********************* and speak with the Medical Assistant of his prescribing clinician.

I keep getting a ****** bill for a missed appointment from these people. per bill, the date in question is 2/23/2022. This is an error. I did cancel the appointment. It however was not noted in the system apparently. Also, when I called to resolve with the office, they were extremely rude and unhelpful and ended up hanging up on me. Also, ****** A ****** was my provider, and she lied to me, stating she was retiring. This is a lie as my mother-in-law is still seeing her to this day. The lapse in care has caused me great emotional and mental distress that I am recovering from this year. The way this office handles some people is not good. Please adjust the balance to 0.00

Clinician called the client twice and left a message and this is why she was charged the missed appointment fee. As a courtesy we have written off the $100 balance

Visited Comprehensive MedPsych services on February 27, 2024 with ******************* and made an appointment for the following Wednesday. However, based on Bering dissatisfied and reading negative reviews, cancelled the upcoming appoint on February 28th. Also, followed up on March 1st. It was done with a live person and through a voice system. Now after 3 months, asking for payment. No one answers and every phone number is the same and lack of email address. I have a record of phone calls with screenshots to the number. I am just asking that they not contact me any further. The number is ************.

Received a $100 dollar bill for cancelling an appointment 24 hrs in advance. I have never seen anything like it. Money does not just grow on ********** to add more stress to peoples lives. I will not be paying $100 and i never received any services. Its atrocious.

However, since patient was never seen and a new patient, as a courtesy the missed appointment fee has been adjusted off

CMPS is sending me statements which clearly documents insurance billed, insurance processed and yet my insurance company has no record of claim, no EOB ever received and statement information is false. It shows a billed amount, no insurance payments or adjustment (because no claim submitted as of today) yet they bill beforehand.

Account researched and client's insurance show a check paid date of 12/7. Waiting to receive EOB to apply payments to dos: 11/16, 11/11, 11/21, 11/30. In addition, there was a duplicate co-insurance charge for dos 11/21 which was corrected. Client was notified that when statements are received a * next to the dates are still pending with the insurance.

Do not use Comprehensive Med Psych systems unless you feel like being swindled. This company scheduled an appointment for me without my knowledge. They sent no notice of the appointment or reminders leading up to the appointment. Because of this of course I didnt attend said appointment. I teach and the appointment was made during a weekday at 9:30am which I could never have attended. I was then informed that I owed $100 for a missed appointment fee. I disputed this with the company, even sending them screen shots of all correspondence with them- all of which showed that I had never been notified of this appointment. After multiple phone calls disputing the charge and emails showing where I was not notified, they reviewed what I had sent them and their response was no apology and they proceeded to charge me the $100 fee. Needless to say I promptly removed myself as a patient. For a mental health facility to treat people like this is shameful.

I had a telemedicine appointment on August 28, 2022. Nobody ever sent me a link and when I called the office, they were closed for Hurricane ***. When I called back Monday they said they canceled the appointment, because I did not complete all my online paperwork. They said they would not charge me $100 fee as that was if I canceled under 24 hours prior or was a no show. Since they canceled the appointment I would not be charged. Then on October 19, 2022 the billing office out of ********** ******* took $100.00 from my checking account. They refuse to refund me the money. I am not at fault, they are. I did everything online and even drove to local office to complete forms. Nobody ever told me it was canceled. So bottom line I waited 3 months for an appointment and never had one, only to have $100.00 taken out. This is unethical billing practices and I want other people to know of there unscrupulous billing practices.

Comprehensive MedPsych has continually messed up my billing. I was undercharged for multiple months resulting in hundreds of dollars that I owed (specifically 287.40). Previously, I had called the billing office about this discrepancy, who told me to call the local office who told me the billing office was wrong. It wasn't until the third time I received a bill for the amount above that the local office realized they were wrong and corrected the billing. Then, when I payed the bill IN ADDITION TO THE NEWEST SESSION, they charged me two hundred dollars ABOVE what my bill said. I am completely fed up with this nonsense. I have the emails and documentation to prove that they have continually billed and charged me in error.
