The business was retained in December ******************************************** my home. Installation occurred on January 10, 2022, informed by the business it should take the entire week for the installation. Business utilized a subcontractor that rushed through the installation completing the project in two days. Perhaps, if the installation was not rushed, I would not be experiencing so many defects in the workmanship with flooring that was installed two years ago. On June 15, 2023, ******, a repair technician (was informed he is no longer with the business) came to my home to repair a couple of different areas that had defects in the workmanship (I utilized my own flooring back stock that I had). On November 16, 2023, I notified ****** at the business that some of the same areas of the flooring that ****** repaired are experiencing issues. I also informed her of other areas that are showing defects in workmanship. On November 29, 2023, I received a phone call at 9:41 am from *************************, owner of the business, I was informed that someone would call me back the following day at 12:00 noon to arrange an inspection, but no one called me back. On December 4, 2023, made an email inquiry as to the status, ****** at the business advised that ******* will be out until next week. On December 8, 2023, I made a phone call to ****** at their business inquiring about the status.On December 14, 2023, ****** at the business replied to my email stating that ******* had to extend his stay and will not be back in the office until Monday. On December 20, 2023, an email inquiry was made to ******, no response was received.I am most sure that most reasonable consumers would agree that waiting for six weeks to arrange an inspection/repair is totally unacceptable. Possibly, the business needs to remove from the flooring sales contract and the business website the following: All installations have a limited lifetime guarantee against defects in our workmanship only.
