I made a donation of $25.00 to the National Police and Trooper Association 2 years ago. A one time donation before I knew that this organization is actually a scam that gives only 1% of money donated to Police and Troopers. My complaint is not only about the misinformation given by this so called charity, but also the continued harassment I am receiving daily by numerous solicitation calls daily that will not allow me to be removed from their calling list.I have asked to be removed over 50 times and I have blocked over 200 phone numbers they have called from, but they continue to call over and over again. This business should be shut down for violating do not call laws.Initial Complaint

I donated $25 to the international union of police assistance on 9/10. I want to see veterans and retired officers and firefighters get help. My bad. Since then I have received 20 calls (its 10/9) from people requesting money. I have asked nicely many times to be removed from their list. They continue to call. It seems to be one guy and once a girl but with the same script. This seems illegal.Initial Complaint

I donated to the International Union of Police Associations in May of this year. I gave them a $35.00 donation out of the goodness of my heart. After that, I started getting 5-10 calls per day (sometimes more calls) starting at the early hours of the morning, going into the late hours of the night, from the same man. There was always this little *bleep* that would start the call, so I knew after several months of him calling when it was him. I would block the numbers on my iPhone, but it didn't matter. I joined the National Do Not Call Registry. I used Active Armor software to try and block the calls. It didn't matter. They would spoof their number and use different phone numbers. Today I get a call from a local number and I thought it was a family emergency. I immediately feel like this is the final straw. I cannot accept months and months of harassment. HARASSMENT. This is what it is. Harassment for another donation. I have asked more than a handfull of times to be removed from their list. The man just goes into a story of how sad he'll be to not talk to me anymore. He didn't take me seriously. I started reporting the International Union of Police Associations to the *** and I am taking this seriously. I also am reporting this to you because I feel some investigation is necessary. Thank you!Initial Complaint

I have asked this company several time to remove my number from their rotation, I am also registered on the national do not call registry. They continue to call me. How legit can a company be if they call you from spoofed phone numbers to ask for donation. I want my number and address removed from their system.Initial Complaint

The National Coalition for Police and Troopers has been calling my phone for over a year soliciting money to be donated to their organization. I have asked them over 30 times to put my on the Do-Not-Call list of which later to receive a call. This preditorial organization has a BBB rating of F. I have blocked hundreds of numbers over the year from this organization and their affiliates. I do not believe this is an actual company that is the National Coalition for Police and Troopers as the calls would stop when asked. But, I received in the mail one of their donation invoices to remit payment supporting the possibility that this may be a legit organization. If the solicitation calls do not stop immediately, I am going to file harassment charges with the Sheriffs Department of which this company resides.Initial Complaint

I have been receiving ***** call per day from this organization for months now. I continually block, report and delete the numbers but it makes no difference. I've made repeated requests to be placed on the do not contact list and each time I'm told l'll be placed on the do not contact list but the calls continue! I am asking for the harassment to stop and to be removed from all contact lists. I have never made a donation to this organization nor do I plan to, as I believe this is a scam. I am asking BBB to investigate and bring an end to the continual harassment of so many!Initial Complaint

I donated to the National *********************************************** Association and the company that they use to solicit calls will not stop calling me. I receive 3 to 4 calls a day for them. I have tried the do not disturb registry but it does not stop charities from calling. I also tried to block the phone numbers, but I have blocked 20 so far and they still keep calling. I am at my wits end with this. I thought that this should be bought to the attention of the BBB.Initial Complaint

I get calls from this organization several time a day evey day and this has been going on for months. I keep blocking numbers but it doesn't matter. I've made repeated requests to be placed on the do not contact list. I've each time I'm told I'll be placed on the do not contact list but the calls have never stopped. I'm being harassed by this organization and I want to never be contacted or get mail again. I donated once in 2023 and if I knew it was going to lead to this, I never would have. They also shared or sold my information (without my knowledge or consent) with the National association of Firefighters. I'm getting nonstop calls from that organization now as well.
