      Good products that can be difficult to find elsewhere, and they consistently have the best deals on vanilla beans. Add in fast, free shipping and responsive help should you need it and thats a winning combination in my book. I think they can sense my weakness for a good deal!

      Ive been purchasing from SloFoodGroup for several years now and can attest to the great quality, affordable pricing, and gracious support provided whenever a question I have comes up. Their fast and free shipping are bonuses. I typically have my order with in 5 days even though Im across the country. The product I have received, whether it is vanilla beans or fresh whole spices, is top notch. Many times the product Ive received is a greater quality when compared to other sellers. Their vanilla beans are longer, plumper, and consistently a much better product when compared with the same varietal of other companies. And youre never shorted. ********, their service concierge, is always friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied. Her timely responses make it easier to figure out what I need and how to go about ordering. Furthermore, I am in several ******** groups that buy vanilla from quite a few vendors. SloFoodGroup rises above all of them, in product, affordability, consistency, and service. They are my #1 recommendation to anyone new to making vanilla extract. I know Im not alone in that feeling as Slofoodgroup continues to be mentioned in the groups as highly recommended.

      I bought saffron from them ,and in my opinion it was not real saffron. I tried posting a one star review on their site but after posting my review I was unable to find it. I wasted almost $60 on what they told me was real saffron. But it does not taste and smell as real saffron. I think they are dishonest. Thank you. P.S how do I know real saffron? I’m Persian and Persia is saffron…

      PS: Your review for the correct product was published on 10.02.2024. To view it, you would need to navigate to the correct product page and scroll past other customer reviews, which overwhelmingly contradict your accusations. This is yet another piece of information that directly refutes your claims.
      We are transparent and honest in our practices, and your assertion to the contrary is simply incorrect.       Your business is dishonest and predatory. When I originally received an email to rate your product, I did so but it never appeared on your site. Secondly, I am claiming that you are selling fake products and calling it real saffron not based on culture but scientific methods of determining a pure saffron test. I used available methods of testing your saffron such as appearance and hot water test and your fake product failed every time. Furthermore, you should allow input from your customers so that they dont make many attempts to place a rating as I did. Where is my input about your product? None. You block all bad ratings. Finally I am a nutritionist with many contacts within the business community who purchase food product and I shall inform everyone including friends and family that your product is fake! This is my response to this predatory business.

      A water test is neither accurate nor scientific. One would think as a self proclaimed nutritionist you would know that... How about you speak to real scientific methods using *** internationally accredited standards just like we do. The only predatory tactics is that which you are using in your attempts to defraud and cause harm to our business. Try to do better and be better.

      I recently had a frustrating experience with SloFoodGroup regarding their return policy and customer service. While I ultimately received a refund, the process was unnecessarily contentious and disappointing. The company advertises a return policy stating that customers can receive a “full refund for any reason” within 30 days. However, when I expressed dissatisfaction with a product after trying it, I was told I would need to pay fees, contradicting the “for any reason” promise. This misleading language caused unnecessary confusion and frustration. Furthermore, the representative I dealt with, Michelle, handled the situation unprofessionally. She accused me of attempting to “circumvent policy” and “abuse” the system, despite the fact that I followed their outlined process and communicated respectfully throughout. Her dismissive and accusatory tone was uncalled for and reflects poorly on the company’s approach to customer service. I hope SloFoodGroup revises its return policy to reflect its actual terms and trains its staff to handle customer concerns with professionalism and respect. I cannot recommend this company until they address these issues. This review is concise, respectful, and addresses both the misleading policy and unprofessional behavior.

      Oh Julie, how quick you are to be both deceiving, untrue and unethical. The facts of the matter here are several fold. First and foremost, you originally emailed our office stating you had made an error and order 5lbs. of cocoa powder instead of cacao nibs and asked if you could return the product. Our team promptly responded informing you that you could return the product but would be subject to the return shipping and restocking fee for errors that are not a direct result of defects or company errors as stated in the return policy. Our team informed you of this, stated the fee, and you responded agreeing to this fee and asked us to start the process. Two days later, you emailed again stating that you had read the return policy and decided to open the product that you previously stated was unopened and would be returning unopened, with a new claim that you were not satisfied with the product and therefore should no longer be subject to the return fee related to customer errors because you decided to open a product that you did not intend to order, did not want and additionally agreed to returning in the same manner in which it was delivered to you.  Your deceitful, fraudulent and entitled nature definitely makes you the cream of the crop that ruin good things for other people. We do not want your business because you lack integrity and the only thing that is contradictory is both your words and your actions. Happy holidays

      I am a repeat customer with ******************** for a few reasons. The price is unbeatable, the delivery time is uncomfortable, and the quality is superior. I don't waste my time or money with other purveyors. You shouldn't either.

      I tried to file a negative review from a email sent to me requesting one. They make it near I mpossible to access your account and cancel a recurring order. Its predatory. Instead of filing the review they sent me back an email as follows.Actually, Its quite easy. Multiple emails go out letting you know how (one at the time of the order, letting you know a subscription was signed up for and how to cancel if it was done by mistake), there is a link in the header of the site for accounts, additional information is located I. The footer under the legal titled subscription policy and you could email our team at any time. Sorry you seem to of missed all that. I have canceled the subscription on your behalf based on your feedback and also included the log in link below. The links they provide do not make it easy to cancel your recurring order or I would have done it. When I read this insensitive reply I tried to log a review on their site and again it denied my review. They are an untrustworthy company.

      Hi Zack, thanks for your valued feedback. We have reviewed all data and communication from you in regard to your concern and found that your accusations, claims and otherwise are untrue and unfounded. You originally provided feedback calling our business a scam because you did not know how to cancel, stop or pause a subscription in which you knowingly signed up for. However this claim in itself is quite untrue. Upon placing your first subscription order on a site (where a subscription is not needed but opt in only) an email is sent directly to all customers letting them know A) a subscription has been signed up for B) how to log in C) or how to cancel if it was placed in error by logging into their account or simply emailing us to cancel. 48 hours before following subscription orders, an email is sent letting the customer know their next proceeding order is being send on x date and if it is not needed to please cancel, stop or pause. Additionally, customers can log into their account directly from the header in the account section. Information about the subscription service is also located in the legal section of our shop that describes the subscription service, how to log in and even how to stop, pause or cancel it including by simply emailing our team. At no point in time did you ever make any effort to cancel your subscription or communicate with our staff that your needed assistance. You consciously chose to be uncommunicative and make a false and untrue claim regarding the issue. When informed by our staff of all the various ways to cancel, stop, pause or alter a subscription, you once again responded in a very derogatory and abusive manner and threatened to do just what you did and leave a review with the BBB. At all times, our staff was prompt, professional, and provided you with truthful and accurate information. At every opportunity, instead of admitting you failed to take any basic or common sense action in regard to your account, you chose to be an abusive, slanderous, and overall aggressive customer blaming everyone for your frustration but yourself. On all points we delivered on our obligations. Your subscription orders (3) in total were delivered on time, shipped on the dates in which they were promised and information on how to manage your account was provided on multiple occasions via emails, located in multiple place on our site and our customer service staff was available and responded promptly to all or any emails. Canceling a subscription is quite easy and there or multiple ways to do it, you simply choose not use any of them. While we are truly sorry for this experience in our shop, our firm belief is the issue is your attitude, the manner in which aggressively communicate, and your overall hostilities on multiple accounts led to this experience.
