  BEWARE !!!!! this guy towed my car without any signage of a no tow area off of North 301. There was a tiny sign in a window of the building not even close to be seen from parking lot. The ropes were down, and there was one little do not trespass on the north side that damaged and rusted and laying on ground. he towed my car at 6 PM and did not report it to the police as by Florida statutes. On the phone he stated a price and his price posted for towing at the shop $150. He then insisted that I pay $385 then changed to $365 to get my car out and stated that he had it for two days after picking it up at 6 PM Friday and not allowing me to get it until the next morning at 10 AM. Saturday The next morn-ing. When returning to the property this morning they placed ropes and a small no trespass sign in a bucket on south side of building but still no tow away sign with his company info. The authorities were called. Thank goodness. This guy is super shady and after seeing arrest record was frankly frightening. Castillo's towing in Sarasota.   Like you said it was 2 signs of not parking and you mentioned its a not trespassing sign too not matter of the size you the only one who violated all law you should charge for trespassing and you need be more professional and not matter where the people coming from we here to work not call people ilegal or go back to your country like you cal me police was call on the lot and make you pay for your mistake

  Please note the no tres sign was placed in a bucket the day after mt car was towed and the price quoted over phone was $145.- then text $385. then $365. Requesting a refund of $220.00. Below are laws on signage. § 122-77. Towing from private property when closed shall have prominently posted a sign indicating a telephone number where the operator of the site can be reached at all times. Upon receipt of a telephoned request to open the site to redeem a vehicle, the Tow Truck Operator shall return to the site within 30 minutes or she/he will be in violation of this Ordinance. The notice must be prominently placed at each driveway access or curb cut allowing vehicular access to the property, within five feet from the public right-of-way line. If there are no curbs or access barriers, the signs must be posted not less than one sign for each 25 feet of lot frontage. b. The notice must clearly indicate, in not less than two-inch high, light-reflective letters on a contrasting background, that unauthorized vehicles will be towed away at the owner's expense. The words "tow-away zone" must be included on the sign in not less than four-inch high letters. c. If the property owner, lessee, or person in control of the property has a written contract with the Tow Truck Company, the notice must also provide the name and current telephone number of the Tow Truck Company. d. The sign structure containing the required notices must be permanently installed with the words "tow-away zone" not less than three feet and not more than six feet above ground level and must be continuously maintained on the property for not less than 24 hours prior to the towing or removal of vehicles.
