      Business Response

The mailer that went out for the tent sale has a scratch-off game on the front of the flyer where you scratch off and match which prize you are eligible to win. You then must bring the flyer in to the dealership and match your winning # (a 4-digit number that is located on the flyer next to the recipient's mailing address) to the winning 4 digit number that is located in the tent in order to collect that prize.

It is no different than any other mailer that goes out from various dealerships/companies. We are sorry that this gentleman feels that he is *********** $1,000.00; however, that is not the case.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to call me at **************.

      Sincerely,

      ***************************, General Sales Manager

I am rejecting this response because:  That is not what was indicated on the flyer.  It said I was a winner of one of these prizes and to proceed to dealer with your winning number to claim your prize.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

      Again,

**************** did NOT win $1,000...he won a CHANCE to win $1,000 IF his winning number matched the winning number at the dealership, which it did not. Please see the disclaimer at the bottom of the mailer that **************** provided. It states:

" THE WINNING NUMBER FOR THE PRIZES ON THE ***** OF THE MAILER IN THE ADDRESS BLOCK ABOVE THE NAME. HEAD TO THE DEALERSHIP AND MATCH YOUR WINNING NUMBER UP TO THE PRIZEBOARD TO DETERMINE YOUR PRIZE".

**************** is NOT owed $1,000.00 by this dealership. This flyer went out to over ******* people in Sarasota....many of whom had the SAME scratch off result, including myself.  We are sorry that **************** did not read or understand the disclaimer and feels the need to pursue this matter. Furthermore, Gulf Coast Auto Brokers will not be issuing $1,000 to **************** as this complaint has no merit.

We sincerely wish **************** all the best and Happy Holidays.

      Respectfully,

      ***********************, ********** *********************************

I am rejecting this response because:  I included a copy of the flyer with my original complaint.

Please read the bottom of the Flyer.  It says:

How to Win:  Scratch off the poker chips above and match the symbols below.  If any of your scratch offs reveal 3 matching symbols, you are a winner of one of these Prizes!  Proceed to the dealership with your winning number to claim your prize!

I matched three $$$ in 3rd column.  No where does it state that I have a chance to win or that I must match a winning number at the dealership.

I filed a claim with the ******* Attorney General's Office.  They are also investigating my complaint.  They were the ones that suggested I file a complaint with the BBB also.

The dealership's intent related to this contest does not reflect what the flyer states!

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

I seen a 2017 Audi RS7 on the dealer website. I called and inquired about the car. I was told the car had no issues. I told them I have a 2015 ***** corvette for a trade in. I explained the vehicle was in great condition. They said I would have to ship the corvette to them and I would also be responsible to have the Audi ship to me in ********. Paperwork was sent to me to sign for the transaction of the Audi. I made arrangements to ship the corvette to them. I was told by the sales person to leave the license plates on the corvette they would be transferred to the Audi when they received the corvette. Plates were not transferred. They have been stolen. Im receiving toll bills from *******. The sales person called and said they received the corvette and it was a great looking car. He assured me that everything was complete and the Audi was being shipped. I received the Audi approximately 10 days later. It was pulled up under my carport. As I looked over the car I noticed a broken off piece on the rear passenger side. I called the salesperson immediately. The sales person said he would send me $200 to help fix it. The next day there was a leak under the vehicle. I immediately called the salesperson and sent him a picture of the leak. He spoken to his sales manager they said for me to take it a get a inspection. I took the vehicle to an authorized Audi shop. I sent the inspection invoice to the salesperson. After receiving the inspection I told the salesperson several times that I did not want the car there were too many issues. The amount to fix the issues was over $5,000 dollars. The dealership sent a $1,000 check I told them that doesnt even cover the labor. Again I told them I wanted to return the vehicle. The car has been modified. It makes the loudest noises went you press the gas. I was not told that the car had been in a accident or had been modified. The salespersons name is ********************* sales managers first name is ********. They now will not take my calls

Gulf Coast, auto brokers, continually and habitually lists vehicles that are not a manual transmission as a manual transmission specifically for the sole cause and purpose of getting more ads and clicks. Its against ********** terms of service. I sent an email to years ago, warning them and asking them to stop doing this and they have started once again or they never stopped. Either way please look into this.
