    Same experience we had! Gave "deposit", he started work and then disappeared! BEWARE

    ***** ***** *. (owner) contracted with me to do soffit and fascia work on my house. I signed a General Service Agreement on June 7, 2023. I paid him a deposit of $1,000. *** tore out the old gutter and has never come back to finish. After reaching back out to him several times, I asked when he was going to complete the work contracted on July 21, 2023, as I was having new gutters installed and required his work to be completed. *** texted me indicating he would issue a refund on July 24, 2023. I sent him a Certified letter indicating I would be contacting BBB, filing small claims case, and other agencies informing them of my interaction, or lack thereof. I am now filing a small claim case to get reimbursement. *** received notice of my next steps and has not responded to date.
