    On 1/7/25 rooms to go se independent delivered furniture to my house. In the process of bringing furniture up the stairs they dropped the dresser and took out my wall, wooden stairs, wood flooring and locked a 2k painting off the wall. The driver and employee admitted to it and say they lost balance due to the assistants side. I sent all the pictures etc. to their claims **** with the repair costs. I even called rooms to go and filed the claim with them and the company while the drivers were still here. I continue to not get my claim resolved and want the money to fix my brand new 2 year old home damage and repurchase the painting they destroyed and that shattered all over the floor.

    On Dec 19 they came to my house to make a delivery and the drivers damaged my wall because they did not unpack the boxes outside in front of my door . Instead they brought the **** big boxes inside the little room and while unpacking the furniture they caused damage to my wall. They need to pay for the damages to my wall and all the supplies and labor involved.

    This delivery company delivered furniture to my residence and scratched my floors and damaged the entry to my front door. A claim was filed and **** ****** from this company offfered me 150 dollars to settle. When I explained these were laminate floors and that only the damaged pieces could not be removed and replaced. The entire floor would have to come out . She then offered me 350 or get a bid for only the damaged areas. I again explained that made no sense as the entire floor would have to be replaced and to respond. She has not and nor would she give me the address to where my lawsuit should be sent.     I am rejecting this response because: althought the business has offred to settle for 1000 instead of the original amount the cost to replace floors and labor would be close to 20,000.  they are demanding to get a estimate to replace the damaged areas only which is no diffrent than they orignially requested. I have told them over and over that you cannot replace just the damaged areas and that this is laminate flooring. It would all have to come up.  they are saying they are only repsonsible for damaged areas so it looks like it will go to court as you cant damage a persons floors and expect to fix a corner of the entire area.   They are playing games. They have a terrible reputation and it shows. The person who I am dealing with is unresponable and not interested in payiing anyhting. Its a game.   Estimates cost money and they have no intentions of paying to fix the problem. Many future customers are going to be hurt by this company. I would never buy anything from Roomms to go again as they use this delivery company which is unethical.

    On 19 July, Rooms To Go using Southeast Independent Delivery Services delivered furniture to our home that included bedroom, living room, and dining room furniture. During this delivery, the two individuals unboxed the furniture in our yard/driveway and tried to use a dolly to bring in the furniture. As a result, they damaged our brand-new floor and front door (we just closed on our new construction home). In addition, one of the delivery individuals cursed at my wife because they had to carry the remaining furniture into our home causing a hostile environment. Once my wife contacted Southeast Independent Delivery Services to complain about the damage and the unprofessionalism of the delivery people, the person on the phone was also arrogant and not willing to understand the situation and I feel took sides with the workers. We want this issue resolved and to be compensated based on the damages from the workers and hostile environment that occurred during the delivery. I do not know what the cost is for this delivery since I assume it is hidden within the sale price from Rooms to Go. All pics have been sent to Southeast Independent Delivery Services and discussed with them. This is the response i received from the vendor and now they will not respond back to me. "We have reviewed the submitted claim materials. Based on the information provided, it appears that ***** is not responsible for the alleged damages. There were pre-existing damages called in prior to delivery."If you have any additional information that shows the damages were caused by a ***** contract driver, feel free to forward for review.     I had a delivery from Rooms To Go for a dining room table. They scratched my floors, I was working with Jaila to get the issue resolved. I sent lots of proof , they even had me sign a contract to agree to pay for 2,760$ for the damages. It's been a few weeks now, I requested updates from Jaila twice, she said she would reach out to management and I still haven't heard on when I will receive the payment.

    On 09/05/2024 A southeast independent delivery truck delivering for Rooms to go struck two electrical poles out on the side of the street. Causing damage to two homes. I am an electrical contractor which made the repairs to both homes. The driver admitted wrong. The police came, made a report. Finding them in the wrong. Was told to send invoices along with pictures into Southeast independent delivery office for payment,which I did. We keep getting the runaround from southeast independent delivery service. More than once we have sent in the invoices along with pictures that they requested. We have been lied to and told several things that did not happen or just flat out lies. This was happening during the last hurricane and the homeowners were out of power for three days while we made emergency repairs. As of 10/03/2024. I have not received a return email or call or payment from Southeast independent delivery service. I keep sending emails and making calls but no one responds. If someone does answer they just give me some excuse and pass me on to someone else. I have contacted everyone that I could find the phone number for hoping to resolve this before attorney steps in.

    On September 17, I had a delivery of furniture from Rooms to Go, which uses Southeast Independent Delivery Services. The drivers arrived and unloaded the love seat portion of the sectional, they proceed to drag the seat to the area of the room I wanted it, which resulted in the first scratch (the larger one) in the entrance way of my living room. They stood the seat up and noticed there was a portion of the seat that was torn and a metal piece was sticking out which caused the scratch. They continued to assemble the rest of the furniture and to move both pieces into the position I wanted. One of the legs on the love seat was not attached properly and as such when they dragged both pieces into position it caused multiple small scratches on the floor. They proceeded to fixing the legs and finished the install. They told me they would report both the damaged piece of furniture and for me to request a replacement as well as provided me with a card to contact *** to report the damages to my floors. I reported both the same day. I submitted a report with photos to ***** and they came back with a $350 offer of which I declined they came back with an offer of $500, which I declined as well. They did not ask me to get any quotes prior to these offer. They then asked me to get 3 quotes on official letterhead, most of the companies I contacted wanted to charge a fee to provide a quote of $75 or more. In dealing with *****, I know they would not be absorbing the cost and as such I have not engaged those companies to provide the quote. If needed, I can engage those company, but ***** would not reimburse me for those fees as well, which would take us in excess of the $500 offer. I provided a quote for $560.88, which is the lowest I received in writing. Other verbal quotes was in excess of $1500. They are refusing to pay this amount.

    I am rejecting this response because: unfortunately, the floor that was originally installed in my house was discontinued and as such I cannot find the matching floors to replace the damaged areas.  I am in the process of securing quotes to replace the floors on the entire downstairs as that is the only solution.  The company requests 3 quotes which is what I am currently getting.

    Attached are the quotes I provided to SE Independent Delivery Services.  They vary in the amount based on what the contractor feels is need to replace the entire downstairs area of my house.  Unfortunately, the repair cannot be made to just the damaged area as the flooring in question is no longer on the market and as such cannot be contained to just that room base on how my floors were installed.
     
    After review SEIDS has offered a settlement of $750 which I've refused.

    I had furniture delivered to my house on May 10 of this year. My house was just built and signed for on May 9. Rooms to go is where I ordered my furniture, but they use Southeast Independent Delivery Service (SEIDS) to deliver the furniture. My father-in-law was here for the delivery. He recommended they take the furniture through the back door, but they said it would be fine. When my furniture was brought through the Front door, it took paint off of the door jam. My father-in-law did not have a place to document the damages with the company because they only had a place to sign for delivery. He took pictures and showed them the damages they did. As soon as I got home, I contacted the company and filed my claim. I first heard from SEIDS on May 13th requesting details and photos. I sent everything requested on 5/14. I received an email back on 5/16 requesting specific types of pictures, and I sent those in on 5/20. I received an email on 5/22 stating the pictures didnt come through, so I resent them the same day. I received an email on 5/23 stating they received my email with pictures and would get back with me in 7-14 business days. On 5/28, they emailed me because with questions because I sent them the wrong damaged area caused by something else. I immediately responded and sent them all correct photos and information. They emailed me on 5/31 letting me know they received my email. 6/4, they emailed me questioning how I knew they are the ones that caused the claimed damage and not the other company. I explained to them how I knew since my father-in-law was there as a witness. As of today, June 11, my claim has not been reconciled, and I havent received any response.

    Order Number: ******** RoomsToGo. Delivered on 12/27/2023. I initially contacted Rooms To Go and they referred my to their independent contractor, SE Independent Delivery Services **** I filed my claim within the allotted period of time (7days) and emailed them at 10 business day to inform that I haven't been contacted, I provided pictures of the damage to my mailbox on 12/29/2023. On Friday January 12th ****, I received a response email from *******************************, Claims Representative. ******************* *************). Here ******************************* response in my email. "Good afternoon, I do apologize for the inconvenience, It looks as though your initial email went to the no reply email which would explain why we only just received this. See your confirmation below: Dear Mr./******************, I am writing to confirm receipt of your email dated 1/12/24. SEIDS will review the provided materials and advise regarding next steps within **** business days. Please let us know if you have any questions or wish to supplement your claim with additional information." I still haven't heard anything from *******************************, and 14 business days from the date ******************************* stated would fall on 2/1/****. This is unacceptable and I will be compensated for my hardship with future actions
