      I applied to Grandview 1/15/2024 i was approved the same day and i paid my deposit of $400. Got my move in cost and everything. I was told my unit was being rehabbed and that it would be ready March 1st which was totally fine with me because my son and I did not have to be out of where we were until then. Unit was not ready got offered a different unit and told it would be ready in a week, not ready making my son and I homeless sleeping in my car. Was sent to ***** MHP saw a unit that was ready told them i wanted it then the excuses came week after week. For a month i was given the run around. Then in ***** was given a letter that I was denied to move in. How do i get approved and pay my deposit to be told a few weeks later Im denied??!!!? I have have surgery and have been recovering in my car!!!! This place made me and my child homeless and every time i go up there or call i get excuses or no answer or the run around i just want a place for me nd my son. And if i cant have that at least give my $400 deposit back because the contract I signed said the company had 8 weeks to get me in a unit and if it wasnt done my money was refundable. I have ALL my receipts and paperwork so if something does not give I will be goin to the courts about this Its wrong and inconsiderate and i will never recommend anyone try to move here.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is somewhat satisfactory to me. The fact that I and my son have been made homeless due to the companies carelessness and lack of consideration went without being acknowledged is crazy.       I moved out on 10/11/2023 I have sent the certified letter regarding my deposit and have not receive a claim against my deposit within the 30 days. I have read that multiple people dont get there deposit back or it take 4-5 months. According to the ******* housing law After the tenant moves out, the landlord has 15 days to return the tenants security deposit if there are no claims to be made against it. If the landlord does not mail a notice of a claim against the security deposit within 30 days after the tenant moves out, the landlord loses the right to make a claim against the security deposit and must return the entire security deposit to the tenant. Which they have failed I need my deposit as soon as possible.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have went up to the office and the manager helped me write a letter that  I was vacating and no longer going to renew my lease I even was told that I had no balance and paid my last weeks rent. I left that place better than what was received with mold in the windows and bathrooms and paint all over the floors I have pictures of how clean I left it and was told that nothing else was needed from me. I sent the certified letter the the correct address given to me and in the tracking number it was received. I received no letter stating what you told me to the address I provided. Ive even called your office and was told corporate would contact but yet I havent been contacted. So if you can kindly give me your corporate number so I can handle this issue and get my deposit back when I was told from the manager of ******* Mhp that the place was in good condition and I owed no money. As well as leaving a notice of vacate which she helped me do.

      Hello good morning Im submitting a request for an answer regarding my security deposit and I have not heard anything from my landlord its very disturbing and upsetting .Im noticing they are trying to ignore the issue and I have submitted 3request with proof certified numbers and showing they have been received .So Im now asking for a response back from them or to tell me why is this taking almost 3months going to 4 months I feel like they stole my security deposit and now they trying to avoid it .IM REQUESTING an answer back and any updates please thank your

      Attempted to rent, was unable to but I had paid a $400 hold fee on a unit was told I need to send a certified letter to their accounting department in order to receive my refund. Did that over 2 months ago still have yet to receive my refund. After numerous calls a couple of weeks ago to get a contact number for the accounting department finally got an answer only to be told they did not have a number for accounting and that I needed to send another certified letter in order to get a response. It is well over the 8 week hold period and still have yet to receive anything

      I have sent multiple request with multiple phone calls to this business for a verification of rent on a previous tenant. Each time I called out, the receptionist blows me off by saying she will have it for you by the end of the day or I have already reported this to the supervisor Common business practice is to get these forms filled out and returned within 24 to 48 hours. Yet its been an entire week with no phone call or email from *** apparently the only person who handles this type of work. You may need to hire someone else who can do their job on a more timely basis, or hire more help for joy , I have been doing property management for over 15 years and have never had a company blatantly ignore verification rental request. These needs to be done on a timely manner so that we may finish processing the tenants application for approval.

      I have been calling the phone everyday back to back because I want to know if it will be any available for a two bedroom by February 20th and I wanted to book an appointment for an application February 18

      I signed a lease with Grandview Family Community LLC in April 2021. The lease was for 15 weeks and then would go week to week thereafter. I had work orders written for the office since the day I moved in. The place was not at all clean like they stated in the lease. This is a fee I had to pay at move-in. They claimed that the mobile home was bombed for bugs and a day after moving in, roaches and termites were everywhere. When I told Heather and Joy, Heather, as unlicensed exterminator, came to my home to do a "treatment" for the roaches. I asked about the termites and she shrugged it off and said that there was spray at the office but she was too busy. Joy, the property manager, would go around in her golf cart to try to intimidate me. When she realized that didnt work, she bullied my children and would have other children in the nieghborhood bully them. Joy advertises that her park has a playground and a pool, however, we lived there from April 2021-February 2022, to which remained locked up with only the office having the key. When I would ask about the pool or playground, Joy had more excuses than not. She told me that other kids hop the fence and vandalized the pool bathrooms, she showed me some old pool steps (that had been sitting in her junk yard behind the white fence) that are broken and blame that on the neighborhood kids. Also, that the health inspector has to come and deem it ok to open. and lastly, "I do not have to open the pool, it's a privilege and it's not part of anyone's rent so I do not understand why everyone is complaining." In Feb 2022, I received a notice to vacate on my door. When I asked about it, Heather told me that I had only 15 days to leave and that I still had to pay for those 15 days that I would be there. I asked about my security deposit and was told that I would get it back 30-45 days after I move out and send in the paperwork through certified mail. Joy refused to communicate with me. This is fraudulent.
