On 22 March 2025, I purchased a 2023 ****** Tacoma SR5. The internet price of $23,994 lured me in. However, the advertised price at the dealer was $24,110.89. I should've considered this bait-and-switch tactic an ominous sign. When I asked what the dollar amount in fees added to the vehicle price was, the salesperson said $1,500.Still, it was disconcerting to find that CarHeroes charged about $2,974.00 in fees. Fortunately, I was able to avoid their so-called vehicle reconditioning fee. I understand taxes, but all their other fees added to the listed price are deceptive. Consequently, I asked that the price on the internet be honored and negotiated to lower the vehicle price by $500, and ***** *., the salesperson, verbally agreed to both. My wife was present and can attest. However, the price on the internet was not honored, nor was the $500.I wish to be reimbursed for the difference of $116.89 from the internet price against the dealer price and $500 for a total of $616.89.

These people are crooks, every vehicle on their lots are falsly advertised. They inflate the price of every vehicle with fees that are a scam. One of the scams is a fee call electronic filing fee of which has nothing to do with a filing fee. It's scam to steal $1000 of your dollars. The are more "fees" this is just one. A vehicle will cost you $5000 or more over the advertised price.

These guys are thieves! I purchased a vehicle, ***** CX-5 2021 on October 5th, 2024. It was advertised for $18484 and when I got there and spoke to the manager **** for the final price the cost was more than $24,500!!! These guys exercise bait and switch to first lure you to their dealership and then inflate the prices with outrageous fees! I negotiated the price down to $22,900+ and I was told that they will check the vehicle for safety prior to delivery and do an oil and filter change. When I showed up to pick up the vehicle none of these services had been performed. They didn't even clean the vehicle! I got a copy of the registration, and I was told that the registration sticker will be mailed to me. It was never mailed. I called and texted the finance manager, Stratos several times and I was promised that I would get the paperwork, but never got it. I was willing to do a cash transaction, but was forced to finance it because they said this is the only way to get the advertised price, because they get kickbacks from the finance companies they use per Chaz and Stratos! Go figure! I am from ************* and the dealers up here pale in comparison in terms of piling up fees to the advertised price of a vehicle for sale. I have never experienced anything like this before. I don't know how dealers are regulated to operate in *******, but CarHeroes should be unlawful to operate! I am going to report them to the ********************** and Professional Regulation, the Better Business Bureau and the *******. In my humble opinion, anyone who is interested in purchasing a used vehicle should avoid CaHeroes under any circumstances!

Came in a few weeks ago, bought a 2022 mustang GT premium performance package. Noticed the fender liners were a little worn which happens. It was covered under warranty but when I took it to the dealer it was shown that the belly pan was removed. Which also happens and thought easy fix not a big deal. Once that came in, then I was told it will not work because the bumper had previous damage which pulled the brackets off (7 of them) so now I'm driving with a car that has no belly pan and minor damages under the car. Car fax was "clean". I asked if there were any damages to the car prior to buying the car and was told it was good. This dealer buys cars and doesn't care to make sure they are buying healthy vehicles. Even when I bought the car I felt as if it was shady due to the fact , they didn't clean it , they lied, and they did nothing to help work with me. If you don't want to run into the same situation I have had, don't go to these guys. They are frauds.

Beware of CarHeroes Seffner! They engage in false advertising. The price you see online is nowhere near what you end up paying. After getting to the dealership, they added over $4,000 in hidden fees and said it was mandatory to use their financing. If you choose not to, they try to charge you even more. When I questioned these shady practices, the general sales manager, ***********, became extremely rude and condescending. This is one of the worst car-buying experiences Ive haddishonest and disrespectful. Avoid this place at all costs!

Bait and switch dealer They advertise one price, but you have to use their finance to get that price and they also add thousands of dollars in fees. I bought a vehicle on December 2023, On February 2024, I called to cancel the aftermarket warranty that they pretty much force people to buy and was told to fill out a form and send a picture of the mileage, so I can get a refund. I filled out the form and send the picture of mileage the same day I received it. I was told on an email that it would takes 8 to 10 weeks to process, so I waited until that time passed to check on the refund. April 2024 I was told they never received the form or picture, so I forwarded and send proof to Chaz. In that conversation I was told that a refund was processed and sent to the lender. I now May 2024, still no refund and wont answer back when I asked about the refund.

Wonderful place to buy a car. There is absolutely no pressure. I felt like they listened to exactly what my mom wanted and made sure she was comfortable with the deal she was getting. And it was a deal! I will definitely be back when its my time to buy a car. Thanks!
