Like other unhappy reviewers, I purchased Dam Easy flood barriers through ***. After being soaked with the salt water that flooded our home in Hurricane ******, the products ratchet mechanism no longer worked. But just four months into my one year warranty (written in capital letters on **** contract), *** did NOT honor the warranty. Would not repair or replace the productand after four weeks of what turned out to be empty promises, the owner (******* *********) finally insisted that I had to deal directly with the manufacturer (which Ive doneand which has been much easier). The whole experience was a far cry from the supposed customer care values touted on the companys website. I would never do business with *** again.

The owner *** lied under oath in an attempt to block an employee's unemployment claim. *** lost. It's pretty obvious that an employee who's concerned about safety doesn't go out without protection and break plate glass windows so you can recycle aluminum trim to pay for your trash can. *** telling them that you never said that under oath was a bad idea. Those two other lies will come back to haunt you as well.

1.The Facts from my perspective:a.June 1, 2022, contract signed for five windows from *** Windows, ***************************************************. b.When I put down my deposit, I was told by the project coordinator that in a few weeks I would get a call giving me a status of my order and estimated delivery date. No call was ever received.c.In mid-August I called the project coordinator and asked when my windows were going to be in. I was called back a couple days later and told the windows would be in November 10, 2022. After that I heard nothing from *** until I once again called them.d.I believe it was the first week in November I called ***, asking when my windows were going to be installed. They did not know.e.On November 10, I again called ***, asking where are my windows? True to form, they had no answer.f.On Nov 18, after numerous calls from me, eleven days after I thought I would have my windows, *** infod me a message which clearly indicated my windows had been sitting at the supplier, ready to be shipped. g.When I realized the windows were ready to be shipped, I asked when they would be installed. The reply: We will be calling you as soon as they get here and we put them through quality control, at that time we will get you on the installers schedule. h. That was November 18, 2022. I heard NOTHING from *** Until Dec 7, when I sent them an email stating I wanted to cancel the order. Suddenly, the windows had arrived Monday (a month ago? Who knows?). i.Windows finally installed Dec 19, 2022, more than a month after I expected them to be installed.j.Windows inspected by the county on Jan 10, 2023AND FAILED because the majority were too difficult to open and one DID NOT have any of the four screws at the top to secure it in place. 2.I have zero faith in *** windows.
