In December of 2024 I started a free trial of naughtydate.com but when i tried to cancel I was unable to. I have called and spoke to a customer service **** I couldn't understand her name but I have the recording of the call. I insisted she cancel my membership as I do not want it nor did I ever. She was the one who finally told me what site was trying to charge my card for ***** multiple times, but was declined except once. Now having the site name I went to the site to make sure my account was closed. Wouldn't you know it, it wasn't. So I tried to complete the cancelation per the websites direction. It requires me to enter a code that was emailed to me. The site says it may take UPTO an hour to receive said email. Wouldn't you believe it, the email never came. I am fully competent in Gmail and the email was never received, so I couldn't complete the cancelation. I would like my account closed permanently and the attempted charges to stop immediately and my ***** refunded to the original payment method.Business Response

We have checked the system and we can see that you canceled the repeat billing on your profile, but after the expiration date, that's why you have already been re-billed for another period of subscription.
There are 4 ways you can cancel your subscription:
1) You can do it manually yourself on the site (go to My Settings and then Billing history);
2) You can do it by calling Customer Support;
3) You can do it via the Contact Us form;
4) You can do it by email (as a reply to any site notification).
Our customers always receive a confirmation email right after cancellation. Please let us know if you have received one on the day you tried to cancel (just forward it to us or make a screenshot and we'll check this issue).
At the moment we assure you that your subscription is now canceled so you won't be charged again.
As requested, we have issued a refund to your initial account.
Usually, it takes 1-10 business days for a refund to appear on your account statement.

After starting with a 3 day trail pack on 11/12/24 with NaughtyDate.com I decided to cancel the membership, called the company for the same after requesting for the cancellation of membership I was told by the representative that it was cancelled and received a mail for the same too, but today on 16/12/24 got charged $47.49 which is I guess their monthly subscription charge twice. I would like get the refund for the money and also a cancellation of my membership if it is still not done after getting a mail stating that the membership was cancelledBusiness Response

We want to bring your attention to the fact that all packages on our site are re-billable by default. As stated in our Terms of Use and Billing Policy, if you do not cancel this membership plan before the expiration date, it will automatically convert to our 1-month membership plan. This information was available to you before the upgrade since you may check the full Terms of Use at the bottom of any site page. I signed up for this service back in January and after having a very unsatisfactory experience with the sites content I have unsuccessfully attempted to cancel my subscription three times, the most recent being a couple days ago. Each time I was provided a series of directions which led to being required to calling a provided customer service line where each operator would unprofessionally give me a run-around then agreed to cancel my membership/dispose of my information only to discover my request being blatantly ignored. Most recently I spoke to a representative named ****** who said they would provide an email confirming my cancellation however I instead received an email welcoming me to a sister site which I NEVER AGREED TO SIGN UP FOR. I unsubscribed and sent another email support@naughtydate informing of the companys deliberate unwillingness to fulfill my request and I was advised that I accepted their My Naughty subscription which I NEVER DID along with a canned free offer to stop customers from unsubscribing! Chances are they have me now subscribing to both naughty date AND be naughty given their record. Their purposeful attempt to ignore my request has gone unanswered far too long! I have also noticed from other BBB complaints of this site that my case aligns a lot with other cases where other people erroneously accepted some other membership within the Naughty Date sphere. *** requested countless times to be completely unsubscribed from any website associated with this fraudulent and misleading organization and wish to report naughty dates unprofessional and wanton negligence to fulfill their end of the bargain. Naughty Date and its sister companies are an absolute scam which has taken advantage of its customers with lousy service for too long! I wish to no longer be associated with Naughty Date/pleasure meetups and any of its satellite sites one and for all and to have a refund for each subsequent charge Ill probably receive after.Business Response

I have reached the business more than 10 times in one week. This included emails and calls. Each time with same outcome recurring subscription has been cancelled. First I never signed up for a subscription. It was a 3 day trial I which the same day I cancelled due to it being a scam. Then they tried to charge the ***** after 4 days. Which declined due to insufficient funds. Then again another 5 days a lower ***** that actually went through. Get this, with a sister company I never even heard of. Not even in the terms and conditions. I dont know how if I changed my card number they got access to it. In their terms and conditions states cancellation must occur before trial ends, if any new charges an email will be provided about new price change 7 days before the charge. Which obviously wasnt done because I would have called them and there to cancel! I have called three times to cancel all three times people stated that it is cancelled but I qualify for more discounts. I have emails to prove it! This is a scam do not use!! The website is a dating site with scam bots. If I dont get refunded I at least would like to stop being harassed and charged on my Apple Cash wallet that I rarely keep cash on. Im not even sure how they do it but they get my new virtual card number every time! Please help!Business Response

We can see that you've successfully cancelled your subscription, but it was done after the new payment was taken. We take complaints against our members very seriously. Unfortunately, we do have the occasional member who is insincere and gets through the system. Once recognized we quickly cancel them from our database. However, the problem of female scammers and advertisers on the Internet has become very severe. We are constantly filtering members' IP addresses and mailing processes to settle this issue. Although it is a time-consuming procedure to trace the scammers at the stage of registering with our site due to their use of different tactics. That is why we have recently implemented an identity verification feature on our sites in order to prevent scammers from using our services. We are very interested in spotting them and taking them off our database.

To edit my complaint each time I called to cancel is when another website was offered not when signing up for trial. I would have never signed up for two when that was my initial complaint. That I kept getting other sister company forced on me. However, thank you both on the matter. I am hoping no more charges occur.

I made a profile on this site, naughtydate.com, and authorized a payment of $0.99, then another payment of $5.99 to try the site out, wasnt impressed. Left the site and never went back. About 4 months later when Im looking at my credit card statement I see over 8 charges on my account totaling about $300, after digging, I see its this site. The site claims that its monthly charge is $35 a month, or for a year its $100. So even if I did sign up for the service, theyre still over charging me. When I report it as fraud in my credit card the site declined my dispute saying I authorized it, but refunded 2 payments from 2 separate months, but NOT the 2 newest charges they billed meBusiness Response

I was wrongly charged on the following dates: August 18th - ***** July 15th - ***** June 17th - ***** In may i signed up and paid for one of their sites and falsely claim i didnt cancel when i did and called them to remove all my credentials from any of their sites over 4 times. However they come with a newer website i never access or knew of as an another charge each month.
