    I paid them **** cash on May 1 2023. This was a down payment for supplies. They kept saying 9 days after about the 3rd 9 days I called them there was no contact after I gave them the money. Her name is ************* or ********************* she goes by both. Her husband's name is *****. I feel so stupid I just want my money back I'm a senior and can't afford this. I don't want them doing this to anyone else. Please help me.

    On 1/23/23, *********** and *************************, of Web Roofer, LLC, contracted with my husband and I (****** and *******************) to perform a roof repair and a roof coating. They were issued a good faith deposit in the amount of $4500 to start work on or before February 7, 2023, with remaining balance of $3000 to be paid upon completion of the work. *********************************** failed to honor the start date and when he was contacted by my husband at phone number ************, he apologized for the delay and the lack of communication and he promised to start Feb 10, 2023. On Feb 10, 2023, he did not show up and he failed to communicate with us until he was notified by my husband, ****. At this time I demanded a full refund due to his lack of proficiency, but *********** stated that he had already purchased the materials for the job and he could not give me a refund. He apologized for the continued delay and stated that he was experiencing issues with his truck, and he promised he will be there on February 16. He did not show up and when contacted by my husband he promised to start job on February 20, even if he had to rent a truck. He failed to show up on February 20, 2023 and has not answered the phone from February 20, 2023, until March 1, 2023. He cashed the $4500 cashiers check the next day after the contract was signed January 24, 2023, and failed to honor his commitment to provide services.
