We had 6 rooms booked for 2 nites 12/30/21-1/1/22 at the Econo Lodge *****, **** ***** ** *** ** ********** ** *****. It is also on the same property as ****** ******* which is now under *** ****** ****** same address. What a mess and horrible experience for all 6 couples. One person booked 5 rooms on *********** about a month ago. I booked our room on ****************. We all went in as a group and got there between 3p-330p on 12/30/21 to check in at 4p. The wait was over 1 hr to check and 4 of the rooms were not clean or ready by 4p. There were numerous errors in the group with the block of 5 rooms and a shift chg of the desk clerk during our time. We had to leave at 5p to go meet up with the rest of our group in downtown ** ********* for dinner and the 4 rooms that were not ready the desk clerk said herself and the housekeeper would clean the rooms and call 1 of the people to advise when ready. We did not get back to the hotel until about 10p which the 4 had to go to the outside window to check in again. Two of the couples were given rooms that already had people in them and they both tried to get into the rooms and woke the people up. So then they got reassigned to 2 rooms that were just then being cleaned. Which none of the rooms looked clean. And 1 couple finally got their room at 12a Thurs nite which was the 4th room assigned to them. Plus the hotel was not making the changes in their systems of our updated room #'s, so was told that was why the double assigned rooms. All of our rooms had the following issues and we had been assigned 2 different ones because I complained the 1st room was not cleaned. Mold, black dirty floors, bedding old, burn holes in sheets and covers(non smoking rooms), bugs, tv's didn't work, bathrooms disgusting, dirty and peeling paint in tubs and walls, loose tiles and black mold in bathrooms, our room had 2 large white tiles over a large soft spot in the floor in front of the sink, shower curtain rod was barely secured.
