I prepaid for 3 sessions of micro needling (Morpheus8) with  at Zenbody Aesthetics on 12/2/2002. A friend of mine recommended based on her experience. I had a consult with  and was impressed with her knowledge and experience with the procedure and booked my first appointment. The remaining appoints would be a month apart after the first session. At my second session,  told me that it was her last day and that she was sorry, but I would be receiving a refund for my last treatment which would be $1,500. During the 5 hours I spent in the office,  was the only person there. Performing the procedure, answering the phone, taking care of the billing, etc. She sent an email to Dr. who is the owner and copied me and said I should be reimbursed $1,500. Dr. Lucas wanted another clinician to perform the 3rd procedure and I did not want someone that I did not know. I spoke with her and found out that she just learned how to perform the Morpheus and in fact was not experienced and I told Dr. Lucas numerous times that I wanted my $1,500 refund. Finally, after threatening to contact the BBB, he said he would send my refund. He sent me a check for $500 and told me that I had been given a deep discount by . His letter is attached. I am disputing the remaining $1,000 with my credit card bank, but I also want to report the unethical behavior that I have experienced. I have also learned that the reason left so abruptly was due to not being paid by him for her services. Please advise on what I can do to obtain my full refund. Thank you.
