1 starMom received call the from this company number they collected her social security number asked about her having a mortgage on her house or not. Agent gave her a ******** number to use agent was not aware of her other insurance. Just looks like a front for a scam operation . This company has a phone number in every area code just so their victims assume it's a local number calling them maybe their doctor. But they just out to collect ss numbers. It's likely a scam were they bill the insurance company for fake services and also sell social security numbers to syndicate brokers.Bio-Genetics Laboratory

1 starI received a phone call this morning from a local number. The caller left a voice mail. I returned their call and I did confirm too much information with them. I should have taken the minutes and researched this company. If I had I would not have returned the call. My doctor, nor I asked for their service. And they use a hidden phone number to call you from. I just hope that I haven't closed the gate and let the horse out. Companys like this is why I very rarely answer my phone. I just spoke to my sheriff and they have Bios' number.Bio-Genetics Laboratory

The company had 1 interaction with a ************************* on 9/16. We do not make unsolicited calls to patients. Patients initiate the request to be contacted. In this instance, ************** was on the website myamericanprizes.com on 09/14/24 at 4:41 pm. and entered his contact information that include an expressed TCPA opt-in to be contacted by Biologistics - Bio Genetics.
Based on this request we contacted ************** on 9/16 and left a message. ************** returned that call on the same day and based on the information ************** provided his insurance was out of policy with our laboratory. We informed ************** of the same and our interaction ended at that time. We have had no further interaction with ************** and he never utilized our laboratories services as a patient.

1 starI received a phone call today about their testing. When I asked them what doctor authorized this, I was told they didnt know. They said it was no cost to me and they just needed some additional information..no way, I was not comfortable with this. I then asked what doctor would they send it to and he said I could pick one. I then said that didnt make sense if they had NO contact from one of my doctors. This WAS an unsolicited call and I didnt request this at all! Please be careful..this sounds like a scam.Bio-Genetics Laboratory

1 starBio-Genetics Laboratory is lying about cold calling people and asking for medical information. See response on 4/16/24. On Monday, 4/27/24 my husband received a "cold call" from them. He was asked 3 questions regarding his medical history. They were as follows: Do you have a family history of cancer? Have you taken 3 or more antibiotics in the past year? Are you currently on 3 or more prescriptions? He did answer "NO" to all 3 questions. After responding, they said he did not qualify for any of their programs. My husband doesn't use a computer and doesn't even have an email. He, nor his physician initiated this call. We believe this is some type of scam to get people to agree to tests that they really don't need.Bio-Genetics Laboratory

We have received and reviewed the information provided and can't find a patient request to be contacted with the last name of ******** in the *** 54734.
The complaint is admittedly being made on behalf of a 3rd party who did not have any direct experience with Bio-Genetics to objectively make a rating of their experience.
Likewise, the complainant provided no information; full name, phone, email, address, dob, etc. related to the alleged party making it all but impossible to respond.
We respectfully request the review to be removed as the rating is based on hearsay and 3rd party accusations.
We have no patient or contact with anyone with that last name at that zip code.
Regards,

5 starsI recently was diagnosed with some medical issues and based on my family history, I was curious about how the results might impact the medications prescribed by my medical team. I have always heard how my father reacts to certain medications and wanted to see if I had the same proposed results based on the genetic testing. My main purpose was to understand how my body metabolizes pharmaceuticals so that my medical team could prescribe the most effective medication to treat my current conditions as well as any future conditions that might arise.I reached out to Bio Genetics laboratory and we performed a detailed medical intake that resulted in a report and recommendation sent to my primary care physician for the doctors review and subsequent ordering of a pharmacogenetics test. Once my doctor ordered the test, a specimen collection kit was sent to my home. Shortly after receiving the kit, a lab agent called and walked me thru the process. It was super easy and had clear instructions in the kit.The results were returned in 30 days to my doctor, along with a genetic summary report to help guide my doctor as it relates to the correct medication specific to my genetic makeup.Overall, the process was easy, straightforward and I would recommend the lab to anyone who is looking to gain a better understanding of their genetic predisposition. I know the results provided clarity on some of my past (bad) experiences with medications. As suspected, I share the same lack of tolerance to the same medication that has adverse affects on my dad.Bio-Genetics Laboratory

1 starBio Genetics Laboratory is bad. They called from several numbers and once I told them to stop calling they would call from another phone number. It is basically harassment and it borders on criminal. I told them so and the woman got very belligerent. This went on for 10 days. Day and night. I would block the number and they would just call from another number. I was trying to tell the woman to stop victimizing me and to please don't victimize any unsuspecting persons and she hung up on me. Beware!!!Review fromMe B

5 starsFilled out an online survey and they called me to follow up. Never asked for SS#. Their Lab is on site & results were mailed directly to my dr!Bio-Genetics Laboratory

Thank you for sharing. It is not our practice to ask for a SS#, but if a patient does not have their insurance number, our agent can pull the member ID by searching a SS# through our Medicare portal.Review fromBarry H

4 starsReviewed the only 3 previous reviews. It appears that the most recent, if legitimate, received medical, genetic information assurance that was very helpful and a positive result for him. Of the other two, the lady was scared off after providing very personal, medical information, and the gentleman apparently was too suspicious, skeptical to proceed ! I understand. The process is VERY in depth and personal. Their surprise call to me raised my suspicions, but I had looked at some hereditary study possibilities online and probably indicated interest. Therefore I answered their detailed medical questions. They have contacted my MD but she wants to see me before authorizing, approving such testing. My input here is to provide a balanced view of what *** be going on with this business. I am surprised it is not a registered BBB entity. If permitted, I will provide further feedback after seeing my personal doctor and understanding her hesitation to approve testing. One curious ***** about their calling - it appears they can call from a number not in their home location - a practice of many vile, evil, entities out there to separate us from our money, property, reputations, and dignity. However, at this point I am reserving final judgment. Hope this is helpful. So far, they appear to do what they committed to do - obviously I am not qualified to evaluate any medical, genetic testing that *** result.Review fromPeter M

5 starsI wanted to understand my overall genetic health risk as I've had a fair number of family members with cancer. I completed a medical intake with Bio-Genetics that was sent to my doctor for him to review and determine if this test would benefit my ongoing care. My doctor did order the testing. It was a simple process as they collected the sample via a kit mailed to my home. The results were delivered to my doctor who reviewed them with me. Turns out cancer doesn't run in my family which is helpful to know going forward. The process was simple and straightforward. I would recommend Bio-Genetics lab to others in the future.
