5 starsI just read all the negative reviews and I am amazed. I have been getting intermittent catheters for 20 years and have never had any issues. When I first retired, we took a summer vacation and decided to stay longer than planned, and longer than I had packed catheters for. It took one phone call and I got a shipment of enough catheters to more than cover our extended time. ONE time I had to make some phone calls and get a new Rx sent, but there were no problems with that. 20 years with no problems. I hope it continues this smoothly for another 40!Review fromJennifer M

1 starI purchased the Pure Wick Female Catheter system for my mother while she was receiving care Through Hospice. My mother ended up not needing the device and it was never used. The company would not provide a refund because I opened the shipping container. There was nothing in writing advising me that I couldn't open the box the product was shipped in prior to ordering that said a refund wouldn't be honored. What a scam.Review fromSteven R

1 starI've been with Liberator for 15 years. I ordered my supply of catheters on 8/13/24. I was told that I would have my order by Friday, 8/17, because I was running low. By Monday the 20th I had not received my order yet and I was forced to use the same catheter since the 17th. I called Liberator early on the 20th and was told that no prescription from my urologist's office was sent over. They told me that I had to call my doctor's office, which I did. The nurse at my doctor's office told me that the order had been sent over on 8/14. For the next 2 weeks I had been playing phone tag between Liberator and my doctor's office. Liberator continued to give me every excuse in the book on why my order could not be placed. The excuses they gave me ranged from "the amount of catheters was not correct", "that my diagnosis code was not correct", "that ******** got hacked" (and I'm not even on ********), and that "your order has been shipped" at least 5 times. Then they had the nerve to ask me "how many times do I catheterize a day"! They even told me that the amount I catheterize a day does not equal the prescription that my doctor sent over! I had so many different Liberator representatives lie to me about my order that I had to contact my insurance company, and they got involved as my advocate. Once the advocate got involved on the 8/28 suddenly all of the "issues" were resolved! The order got placed and I received them by Fed-Ex on the 29th. When you've been a loyal customer of ******************** for ** years you expect better! The treatment that I received from Liberator was a disgrace. They do not deserve one star!Review fromJORI L

1 starDo not use this company! They will not send you the quantities of supplies ******** will allow. They refuse to correct the problem and we have battled it for two years. They have zero education about the supplies they are selling and customer concerns are ignored. Do not waste your time. It should be considered elder abuse. Don't try calling them because they do not have the knowledge to assist or try to assist customers. I wouldn't even give them one star but I have to in order to leave a comment.Review fromJoanna C

1 starI set up my husband's account with **********************. They called me to get an order the woman asked for my name and said I was not on his account and that she couldn't take my order. I'm the one that set up the account I'm the one that pays the bills but they can't take my order for my husband which I have power of attorney for and he has dementia so you tell me how he was supposed to place his order when he doesn't even know what day it is the woman was rude and you need to be careful when you deal with these people because dealing with what I deal with I don't need to pay someone to be rude to me I have that at home with someone who has dementia thank you What gets me I can't post my review without leaving a star review I have to put a one just so you'll get to see what I've posted but they don't even deserve thatReview fromDeborah C

1 starFYI: Liberator Medical Supply was purchased by Bard. Bard is a subsidiary of Becton, ********* and Company. Please look into this case of fraud and unethical practices. The company involved is Liberator Medical Supply (parent company Bard, part of Becton, ********* and company). The Purewick urinary catheter supplies in question are manufactured by BD. My mother was the person who needed these expensive supplies. She passed away a week ago. We have 2 boxes and 3 containers that were purchased and not opened. The amount in question is about $550. Like many other people who complained to the BBB, I was told by Liberator Medical that there would be refund. They kept me on the phone for ***** minutes with each call. They initially seemed to want to help me, but then they developed slow, drawn out, inconsistent and unreliable information, not only from one customer service agent to another, but also while talking with the same customer service agent! The agent seemed to get her scripts mixed up! Long story short, it was clear that no refund would be coming, even if the customer took the items to ***** themselves. Interestingly, this exact same scenario was repeated over and over by other people on the BBB complaint site for Liberator Medical. That a well-known global medical device and ********************** corporation like ****** *********, would allow, and it seems, encourage, deceitful, hurtful lies is inconceivable. And yet, its true! This company has caused frustration and heartache for me, someone who has already suffered a loss. And it seems that there is no recourse for their fraudulent, unethical behavior. We rely only on their word and goodwill. Goodwill seems to be in short supply. My experience is very similar to that of many other complainants on the BBB Liberator Medical complaint site. At this juncture, however, I am willing to accept a 50% refund and never have to deal with this company again.Review fromRobert D

1 starThe absolute worst company for catheters. They ******* you with calls way before it is time to reorder. I've had shipments come up short. And I have times where they have sent me a double order and tried to get my insurance to pay until I caught them. On several occasions I have requested lubricant that they failed to send but the packing slip shows it was sent. I have called them numerous times with an emergency but no one has ever called me back. I'm changing companies.Review fromCatherine R

1 starThis company is a JOKE! Its been nothing but problems since day one over 3 years ago. Besides claiming they constantly need new orders from my Dr., like they did again todayleaving me on hold for literally over 30 minutes before coming back and saying they just needed my Drs fax numberthey will take forever to supposedly get those orders when my *********** says theyve sent them, even multiple times, then take forever getting authorization from my insurance, leaving me w/o supplies. Now, their app messed up and I didnt receive my most important items, my ostomy bags, and even though it had only been 5 days since the order was placed when I found out, they're flat out refusing to send me them unless I pay cash outside my insurance of over $110. I live on SSI and only &900/mo. They must need to be making more money or something, but my insurance said theres no end date on when my supplies can be ordered, which is clear by how long they can take to get authorizations or supposedly the new orders needed from my Dr.And not once in my constant messages to them through the app, did the rude person responding say that my insurance wont pay for the supplies, only that their mgmt said, Nope, you cant order them until next months order. My insurance says otherwise. There is no such thing as an end date for when supplies can be ordered, and I informed them only five days after the order was placed when I got the other suppliesfive measly days and I dont always order right when theyre supposedly due, anyway, because I dont always need them right then, which also proves that theres no so-called end datewhere an order can no longer go through insurance. Theres only too early dates. Theyre extortionists. Use them only as a last resort. *** never dealt with a more incompetent company in my life. And blaming the customer for their apps mistake and then trying to extort money from them for what they know is imperative supplies is beyond repugnant.Review fromDonald B

1 starLiberator Medical will not stand behind their product. Instead they hide behind a lame no-return no refund policy and refuse to issue refund even though their product for home use fails to perform comparable to health care facility experience. Complete waste of $
