Insurance company incorrectly estimated the parts and costs needed to repair my car. Attached supplemental adjustment form was sent to the insurance company twice, and there is no response. The insurance company did send me a check 10 days ago for the initial incorrect amount that was not cashed, and no acceptance forms were signed because the amount is incorrect. I am filing this formal complaint against Ocean Harbor Casualty Insurance Company also known as Pearl Holding Group, Inc. for engaging in fraudulent, deceptive, and unfair business practices during the process of handling of my auto insurance claim. Their misrepresentation of fees, services, and guarantees, along with the manipulation of repair estimates to unjustly declare the vehicle a total loss for profit, constitutes violations of multiple federal consumer protection laws including but not limited to, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt ************************ (18 U.S.C. *********), the ************************ Act (15 U.S.C. 45), and the Truth in Lending Act (15 U.S.C. 1662). Their unlawful actions have resulted in financial harm to me, and I am requesting an immediate investigation and appropriate legal enforcement.Pearl Holding Group's actions constitute a pattern of racketeering activity, including mail fraud (18 U.S.C. 1341) and wire fraud (18 U.S.C. 1343) by using electronic and written communications to deceive me regarding the status of my vehicle and insurance claim. The company engaged in fraudulent practices to unlawfully profit from falsely declaring my vehicle a total loss and depriving me of my rightful property. This scheme appears to be part of their standard business practices, potentially affecting multiple consumers.Pearl Holding Group engaged in unfair and deceptive acts or practices in or affecting commerce, including misrepresentation of material facts, fraudulent financial statements, and unfairly influencing my decision regarding my vehicles status. These acts are explicitly prohibited under 15 U.S.C. 45(a) and warrant investigation and enforcement action by the ***.

On September 25, 2024, a client insured by Ocean Harbor Insurance hit my vehicle, resulting in significant damage. Ocean Harbor deemed my car a total loss, took possession of my vehicle, and obtained the title. However, they have failed to pay me the agreed-upon value of the car.I have repeatedly attempted to contact Ocean Harbor Insurance regarding this matter, but my calls and messages have been ignored. It has now been almost a month since the incident, and I have been left without a vehicle, causing significant inconvenience.Additionally, Ocean Harbor has refused to pay for a rental car or reimburse me for the costs of alternative transportation that I have had to arrange out of my own pocket. This lack of communication and failure to resolve the issue is unacceptable. I request immediate payment of the agreed-upon value of my vehicle, reimbursement for the transportation expenses I have incurred, and a formal response to this complaint.

My mother who is 70 years old used this insurance based on the recommendation of the place she bought her car. To say this company is fraudulently inept is being kind. All 4 tires from her car were stolen on Dec 30th, the same day she filed a police ***ort and a claim. As of Jan 14th, *********************************************************** resolution other than requests for documentation that she has already furnished via fax with confirmation. It took a *** a week just to get out and inspect the damage. I have been calling the adjuster's number and extension and emailing daily since the *** gave us his info, ***** *********. Not one phone call or email in response. Meanwhile, I'm renting my mom a car for 2 weeks, which they don't even cover, while we wait for whatever it is they are going to do to cover her What the heck has she been paying for every month???

I was in an accident on the 12th and I have been literally calling for weeks trying to get a hold of my insurance company about my claim and I cannot get a hold of them. I ended up having to surrender my vehicle because of this issue.

Their insured hit my car on December the second. Since then, I have heard nothing from anyone pass an adjuster coming out to look at the car. I have called multiple times over the last 20 days. To be hung up on as a matter of fact hung up on 5 times today for the last 3 weeks, they've been saying that the claim Is in its final process, call the adjuster? Several times no one calls back. This is definitely not a reputable insurance company. It looks like i'm gonna have to file a lawsuit because this is the most ridiculous experience that I ever had with an insurance company. The customer service people are very uneducated. An untrained

I was rear ended on September 20th, 2024 by a woman who is insured by pearl holding group. The woman did not have bodily injury insurance, so I paid for my injuries with my own insurance. I went through pearl holding to fix the damages to my vehicle, which included car seat replacements. I also was told by a customer service agent at ******************************************* that I would need to pay for a rental car out of pocket while my vehicle was being repaired. Then I could send my adjuster the rental car receipt and be reimbursed. The adjuster that was assigned to me will not return my calls or emails. I have called their customer service and they tell me she will call me that day, but never does. I have left messages with her supervisor to not resolve. I have not received the money for my car seat damages or reimbursement for my rental car. I cannot even get a response confirming they received the receipt. I cannot get any response from this company outside of calling their customer service who can only read the notes on my file from the adjuster or forward my calls to the adjuster.

On 11/22/24, I submitted a claim due to a car accident. All has been completed on my end. The appraiser went to the body shop to look at my car and submitted his report on 11/26/24. As of 12/05/23, an approval still has not been received and I have been unable to reach my adjuster.
