      On 3/15/23, I purchased Labpox 30 Epoxy Floor Coating and CoverGrip Anti-Slip Additive online from Covertec in *******, ******* in the amount of $184.60 (Invoice #*****). I intended to use this to paint my garage floor at my home I purchased in *******. Although I had used a similar product with great success from ********** for my garage floor in ***, I elected to support a local business in the state that I was moving to. Due to the Summer weather, I waited until 1/19/24 to paint the floor. Once product was mixed, the roller started sticking to the floor, the mixture started smoking and then hardened ** in less than 15 min. I precisely adhered to the instructions that were provided with the product. I only had the perimeter and a small section of the garage painted when this occurred. I immediately called CoverTec and was told that I needed to speak to ******* who was either "in the field" or "in a meeting" every time I called. After calling numerous times with no response, I had to go to ********** to purchase a similar product to try and cover the unsightly areas around the perimeter that I had just painted. The ********** product on the rest of the floor came out perfect. I finally touched base with ******* by the end of the day and was told that the product needed to be completely covering the floor within 15 minutes or it would ****** up like a rock. I inquired as to why this information was not included in the instructions. There is no mention of having to complete this paint job in less than ******************************************** the instructions. Apparently ******* was not aware of this as he said that he would have to go look at the "literature" and call me back. I never heard back from him. Judging from the amount of negative reviews for Covertec, it is apparent that Covertec does not include pertinent, critical instructions with their product. Due to omitting vital information, I expect a full refund on this defective product.

      1. The source of product instructions and clarity of instructions.

      CoverTec is not the manufacturer of the product Labpox 30, we only distribute it. The instructions for Labpox 30 are provided by the manufacturer, Lab Surfaces, and not by CoverTec. We appreciate your understanding of this distinction.

      We also acknowledge that ******* agreed that the instructions could be clearer to assist inexperienced users. We are committed to enhancing the clarity and comprehensibility of the instructions, as we recognize the importance of providing clear guidance to all our customers.

      We are proud to maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, which reflects our commitment to customer satisfaction and ethical business practices.

      In the interest of goodwill and customer satisfaction, we would like to offer a full refund of the purchase amount of $184.60 (Invoice #*****). This refund will be processed quickly within 3 days to the original payment method you used for the purchase.
