So since 2019 I believe, we had been taking our dog ***** to Animal Aid and over the last 3 years or so we had noticed a immense drop in her weight and appetite she was not eating she was not drinking and she was drooling profusely it was very very bad and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with her we tried dehydration resources we took her to Animal Aid on multiple occasions spent over $***** and was told nothing was wrong with her but for some reason they gave us a bunch of painkillers and antibiotics but they say nothing was wrong with her I took her to Quincy animal hospital because I knew something was wrong because she kept hacking things up and we could not figure out if she had something stuck in her throat and immediately Quincy Animal Hospital saw something in the back of her throat and pulled a piece of a softball size tumor from her throat we had to put her down on the 10th of January and she had been with us for almost 10 years they told us absolutely nothing was wrong with her they took urine samples stool samples blood samples everything and all they had to do was look down her throat I had mentioned to them that something was in her throat because I could feel it on the outside of her throat but they completely ignored me and told me nothing was wrong with her I am also going after them with a medical malpractice lawyer but I know that there's nothing to Better Business Bureau can do on that standpoint but they need to be held accountable for what they did to our animal we no longer have our animal because of these people and they're absolute negligence please if there's anything you can do to help I greatly appreciate it

To whom it may concern I see no reason why animal aid needs medical records of an animal that is passed away. The animal passed away due to negligence on their part and they need to pay for that whether it be them being shut down or them paying us back for what we paid for when they did absolutely nothing which was about $***** maybe more. I asked Quincy not to send them any medical records because they do not need them for any reason the animal has passed away and it's because she had a softball size tumor in her throat that animal aid said nothing about even though there was stool samples urine samples blood work and she was there for hours at a time and apparently nothing was found or there was nothing wrong with her was what they told us even though they gave us a mound of medicine when we left the last time it was painkillers three different kinds actually and then some kind of antibiotic and then something for a yeast infection that she didn't even have and then more medicine for her ears because she's always had a problem with her ears but the tumor was so big that it cut off air to her trachea she could not breathe she also could not eat be weighed about 50 lb and she was severely dehydrated because she couldn't get any water to go down her throat my husband was having to put her in the shower for about an hour at a time every day just to make sure she got enough water of course he did this multiple times a day. We are ourselves had to gather the stool and urine samples twice actually and was told there was absolutely nothing wrong with her she was fine she was just getting old she was only 9 years old I know dogs that live well into their twenties but she suffered her last couple years because of those people and they deserve to suffer that dog was with our family for almost 10 years. She was here when my oldest son was still alive before he passed away in 2015 and she was around when our youngest was born and he's too now and he still asked about her everyday so it's worth so much more than the money that we had to pay but it's a ******* start...

Do you have it may concern I also want to include that Quincy Animal Hospital saw ***** once 5 minutes and they immediately saw the tumor down her throat they tried to pull it out thinking something was just stuck there but when they pulled it out it was just a chunk of veins and cartilage and blood so she bled for a couple hours once we left there and from then on they either just did not want to do the work to find out what was wrong with her or they thought that we were overreacting and thought that they do better than us so they just didn't do their job I don't understand why they are requesting her medical records at all she's not here anymore she's gone she passed away we cremated her there's no reason for them to have any medical records the only thing that Quincy did was the first day I took her up there they did a checkup on her and immediately found the tumor within 5 minutes. And the next appointment was to have her put down which was after the New Year's because we didn't want to ruin Christmas but to be honest it had already been ruined because all they had to do was check her like we asked I believe it was 4 years ago we thought she had heartworms she was hacking a lot and started rolling out of nowhere but then it just went away I believe that's when the tumor started but they never did anything they just assumed what was wrong with her they don't do their jobs at Animal Aid of Tallahassee Florida they never have I've always heard bad things about them they deserve to be shut down

I am rejecting this response because:

they told us nothing was wrong with our dog and they do not need her medical records she is dead and gone because of them. We have been taking her there since 2019 and back then we actually thought she had heartworms because she was coughing a lot and they just assumed that she had heartworms I believe that's when the tumor started by the time we finally found out it was there it was too late and we had been taking her to a vet regularly which had been Animal Aid and due to their medical negligence and their pure laziness for their jobs our dog is gone a family member is gone because of them and nothing is going to make that better so to end I suppose in conclusion they do not need her medical records by any means this is not a response that I expected from them to be honest because they assume that Quincy did so much more Quincy Animal Hospital did nothing but let me know she had a tumor in her throat because they could literally see it when she opened her mouth and that it was so far along and she was so skinny because she couldn't get the food down because the tumor was literally blocking her Airway so she could barely breathe she could barely eat she could barely drink and this happened over a 5-year span but got increasingly worse at the end of it. The tumor grew very fast from how she went downhill fast it literally happened within a week one day she was fine and then increasingly got sick and we had to watch her suffer because of them.
