We purchased shutters for our new home. The shutters were installed in August 2022. The company used a new installer that was recommended by the manufacturer (*******). The installer took over a week to finish the installation, and finished it unsatisfactorily. The owners of Southern Window Treatments came to our home with a representative from *******, and agreed that the installation was poor quality. They offered solutions and and assured us that they would correct the problems. Numerous people have come to correct the issues since August, but each person that has come has told us that the only real way to correct the problems are to remove the current shutters, and reinstall them. So from August through January, we had people constantly in and out of our home (showing up late, not showing up at all, etc). Finally in January the owner came to our house with additional representatives from *******. At this point, the owner of Southern Window Treatments handed us over to ******* and said we would be dealing with them moving forward. The representatives from ******* said they would contact us to set up an appointment to remove one window and reinstall as a test to see if it addressed our concerns. We never heard from them. We followed up with Southern window treatments on February 13 to let them know we had not heard from *******. Finally on March 15 someone from ******* came to measure our windows for the test removal. Since then, nothing else has happened. We have not heard from *******, and the owner of Southern Window Treatments has only said he would reach out to them.
