Hi BBB, I had the owner Carlos do some body and paint work to my car. Front bumper and rear quarter panel and bumper paint. When I got the car back it had white over spray paint from another car on the rear quarter panel. My car is gray. I mentioned it to him and he said he will fix it. Finally got a chance to bring the car to get fixed. He decided to wet sand and polish the car to try to get it off. It didn't work and he returned the car with the drivers rear bumper sanded and not polish. , a crack rear bumper and the over spray still there. I dropped it back again around 3 weeks after and he repainted the car but didn't fixed the crack. I called and he stated he fixed the crack. The crack is in the same spot with paint in between the crack. How would paint get inbetween the crack if it was repaired. I also had a huge scratch on the front bumper. chipped paint on the rear bumper near the rear passenger door. Very bad work. I live in Clearwater and his shop is in Tampa. It takes a lot of time to take my car back and forth to his shop.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/02) */ Customer complained about light over-spray mist on a small section of the vehicle, so we offered to buff the entire car free of charge for customer satisfaction. This is when the true issues started. After receiving his car back from the complimentary buffing, the customer claimed we had cracked the rear bumper and missed a spot on the buffing. This is not possible as car we do not drive the vehicles on the road, only in and out of the gate. The car was inspected by the customers mother and father, as well as myself upon pick up. We made sure it was flawless; we all agreed there was absolutely nothing visibly damaged. Despite not being at fault we agreed to fix the crack on the bumper and readdress the quarter panel despite feeling that we were being taken advantage of. Upon the third visit, the customers mother requested we fix some new front bumper damage free of charge. We respectfully refused as it had nothing to do with us or our original repairs. I have pictures of the final paint job showing the crack he claims is no longer there. I figured it would be smart to have proof with someone this particular. I will be uploading the picture, where you can clearly see there is no visible crack. This gentlemen and his family took advantage of our kindness and affection for customer satisfaction. He accused us of poor work in an attempt to get extra repairs he was not entitled to. I'm sorry friend, but that crack is gone & those new bumper scratches were made by you or your parents. Otherwise they would have never taken the car off the premises. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/05/05) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have two professional painters looked at the car and the quality oof the job and paint isn't good. It's wasn't done correctly. The small over spray was not small. It was on the rear bumper leading to the quarter panel. That's a big task. It was white paint over gray paint. How is that a quality job? The bumper cracked came from them because of the pressure they used to sand and buffer the car. They send back the car with scratches and a part still sanded and not buffers. They said they would take care of the care and the over spray. That is was they wrote and said they would do. That was never done. I do t see any signs of a repair bumper which they claim they did. They lied and the quality of work shows. The owner is a nice guy but the work he is doing is rushed and not professional. I would the BBB to see my car and inspect it and let me know if that's good quality and if the repair was done. I can also show you areas of poor job that they did if they really want me to get into detail. Thank you Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/05/11) */ We didn't scratch the front bumper or crack the rear bumper, as stated in previous response. I have already uploaded pictures showing the flawless condition of the final paint job. We are not issuing a refund or doing any further work. We will just agree to disagree. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/05/12) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I would like the record to show , both the picture the shop sent and I took depending on the distant you won't be able to see the crack on the bumper. There is no close up pic from the shop showing the repair was fixed. There is no signs on the bumper that the repair was fixed. They are lying on this issue which it the only reason I'm going through the BBB. Thank you
