I had a shower installed about one month ago. The shower pan already has a crack. The glass shower door is not the right size and water leaks out. I have made numerous attempts to have a technician come out to fix the issues. Every time I spoke with the customer care, they give me excuses and keeps delaying the repairs.Business Response

National Bath was notified about this situation from ****** ******** on January 22nd of 2025. We followed up with ****** ***** Daughter on January 27th of 2025 at 11:27am to assure we have created a service ticket to address their concerns. We are actively working on this situation and in communication with the ******* Daughter as the shower pan was not cracked when National Bath finished install on 12/9. However, National Bath will always honor the concerns of our customers and again actively creating a solution with ******* daughter. On Oct *******, met with *** ***** sales *** for National Bath & signed contract to have tub removed and shower installed. Was told by *** that they had PRODUCT IN STOCK and they could INSTALL IN A FEW WEEKS. We signed contract on phone, but when we received paper copy, we saw that it could take up to 20 weeks. Had we realized that we WOULD NOT HAVE SIGNED THAT CONTRACT. Then AFTER A MONTH (Nov) they said that they didn't have enough of product in stock. Said they would give us upgrade at no charge and set an installation date for week of Jan ***** of 2025.(2 more months of waiting) Today is Jan 22 & we have not had even a phone call . Therefore we are asking for a cancellation of contract and want our deposit of $3000 back because we don't trust this company and due to the lack of integrity for them not following up on new installation date, as I said before , not even a phone call before the 13th to confirm installation. Seems like they keep putting us off and we have lost interest in getting a shower now. We also have lost 3 months of interest on our $3000 with no benefits of a shower.Business Response

National Bath ran into back order of materials during holiday time, due to this mishap National Bath contacted ***** ****** & Mr. ****** to offer a catalogue of complimentary upgrades to choose from, in order to address their concerns and be able to install their upgraded shower by the end of January. National Bath has attached a copy of the signed change of contract from December 18th of 2024 as well as the emails of choices to select from that was sent to *****. We believe there was misunderstanding as we stated our truck would deliver their new panels between January *****th so we can install their new upgraded shower the following week to meet the deadline of the end of January. National Bath contacted Mr. ****** to offer availability of install and Mr. ****** told National Bath we could not come until he gets permission from ***** ******. National bath would like to resolve this matter swiftly in order to prevent any further delays.

National Bath has been trying to contact this customer also left voicemails regarding this complaint. National Bath went out to the home on February 2nd of 2024 and consulted with *** ****** the customer that signed a contract and provided a Driver's License of *** *******. ********************** was never in contact with *** ******* Mother "***** *****" for this contract. National Bath has a fully signed contract signed by *** ******* for the agreement they made on February 2nd. We would love to hear about the sales *** situation, but National Bath has yet to get a hold of *** *******. National Bath can provide Driver License and Contract that was signed by *** ******* not the mother who suffers from mental disabilities as we cannot accept a decision from anyone but *** *******.Initial Complaint

There was a contract entered into on March ****** for the installation of approximately 23 windows to be started within 6 to 20 weeks and a deposit of $24,000. 20 weeks was up on June 25, 2024, and nothing had been initiated nor completed. We contracted National Bath to redo our shower. This is the second time the walls are peeling off. Not Only are they not Made of materials we were told, but National Bath has been avoiding us for over 2 months.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:company contacted me a week after BBB closed the contact due to them not responding. They had 5 months to contact me to make repairs and at no time did. They also never offered any compensation for my inconvenience. They are only reaching out now because they got spanked by BBB. They fixed our bathroom once when it came apart and it has now come apart again. A warranty does not mean I have to let them come out every 3 months to make repairs. They are incompetent, unskilled and full of excuses and we no longer trust their company or their work we have asked them to pick up their bathroom and give a full refund

National Bath had a hiccup during installation which at that point made a resolution for the customer. We have contacted the customer 9/24, 10/14, 11/26, 1/9 in order to offer compensation and redo her shower. National Bath offers a lifetime warranty and in this instance we honored the hiccup in the beginning and offered a full redo PLUS compensation, however the client refuses services and will not allow national Bath to create a resolution for her. I waited almost a year for installation, which is ok. The installer did not cover anything like the contract states. Also, they cut the shower walls in my garage, then tracked the cuttings through the house. They did not have the seat, so they had to come back. The Installation looked good until I found the caulking on the seat had sunk in and coming off. I also noticed that all the water was pooling in the back. I have a middle drain. The water was pooling back by the seat. After further research I found that I had to move the water to the drain, so it did not sit in the back. I have called at least 10 times. They had me send a video with the issues that I am having. Never heard back. I keep calling and no one answers the phone. The water is getting under the seat because they installed it wrong, and the shower floor is bowed. I don't know if the water is getting behind the shower, causing mold. They will not return my calls or fix the issue. They will have to re install I floor, and I think that is why they ignored me.Business Response

National Bath has been in contact with **** ***** throughout this entire process and she LOVES her new shower and is very happy with National Bath. Certified Mail received 10/28/2024 regarding lien against my home due to National Performance Windows & Doors not paying the window agent they used for the windows that they used for my home. The work was finished on 7/29/2024 and inspected on 10/2/2024. On 7/29/2024 the finial payment was made for a total of $24,796.00. They installed 16 windows and screens. Now the ************** said they haven't been paid for their part. The window companies name is Renaissance Windows and Doors **** I called National Performance to get this problem fixed on 10/28/2024 as soon as I got the certified mail but I haven't got any answer as yet. I need to get this fixed asap. I don't want a lien on my home of any kind.Business Response

Hired national bath to remove tub and install walk in shower, my wife is handicapped so we paid to have a shower seat installed. The seat is pulling out of the wall, national bath inspected the seat and told my wife it was unsafe for her to use. We were told they would have to replace the wall and put in support for seat. I was informed all materials were received in July. After many calls and emails they still have not fixed the problem!Business Response

9/26/2024 had National Bath install walk-in shower. After work was done, it looked ok. I went into the bathroom to take pictures and noticed caulk on the shower wall. I wiped it off and found damage installer tried to cover with caulk. I called installer back and he said oh yeah that happened when I was installing the grab bar. Installer wanted to cover it with caulk and I said that was not acceptable. Installer said he would install a new ********** came out 9/30/2024 and replaced it. There was also damage to part of the mop board that he made better. Installer said to wait 24 hours before using shower. 10/1/2024 I used the shower and water leaked out onto the bathroom floor due to uneven installation of glass door. Called National Bath spoke with *********. She was supposed to call me back & advise when someone was gonna fix door but did not. I called her Friday 10/4 and she said she will call me sometime next week with a date they will come out. I said not acceptable as she never calls back. She said that she can only do what she is told. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she hung up on me. I called back and got voicemail.Business Response

National bath fitters installed a new shower system. Work was very shotty and created leaks. A second crew was brought in tore out all the original work redid it and within month or two. My floors were starting to get soft and mushy. I called national bath fitters told them something was wrong. They denied it was their problem and refused to come out and check it out, consequently the bathroom floor is out into the hallway and under the wall into my bedroom floor are caving in. I got a flooring contractor to come out to the top level of flooring and everything underneath is soaking wet black mold everywhere from the bathroom into the hallway into my bedroom, everything is being torn up down to the studs , I have called national bath fitters send them pictures and have not heard back. Mrs. ******** contracted National Bath to remodel her shower on October 30th 2021. Upon completion of the shower space, customer was not satisfied, and ********************** re-did the entire job again to her satisfaction. Somewhere in between those two installations by National Bath, the customer had the flooring re-done in her bathroom. This flooring job caused a leak in her toilet, which has created issues with rot and mold in the flooring of her home. This work on the flooring was not contracted with National Bath and was not performed by National Bath. As a result, any resulting damage from this flooring job would not be the responsibility of National Bath.
Attached is a copy of the contract. As well as a picture showing the bathroom flooring at the time of the initially completed shower install by National Bath, and a picture showing the change in bathroom flooring which was in place at the time National Bath came back to re-do the original shower job.
