    I had a used conex container delivered yesterday, when the driver got the container off of the trailer, we looked it over and I noticed multiple problems. The roof is leaking, the floor has been piece together and barely staying down, the doors are rust rotted all through the bottom, the doors do not close properly and the seal on the doors will not seal together. I have contacted them and they keep stating that I need to send multiple photos that I have already sent 3+ times and they are acting like they have not gotten them. This company is definitely not what I would recommend.

    Hello, you paid for the container upon delivery after inspecting it and signing our proof of delivery form confirming it was received in good condition. We understand that some issues may not be immediately noticeable, and were happy to assist within our warranty policy. The images we received show regular wear and tear, which is to be expected from a used shipping container. Please reply with pictures of the holes you see on the roof, and we will send you patches to cover those holes. That is what our warranty covers. We also offer a 90-day return policy that you can take advantage of if you prefer. You may return the container for a full refund; however, you are responsible for hiring your own carrier to return it. This policy is outlined in our Terms and Conditions and the Pay After Delivery contract you signed when placing your order. Thank you!

    I am rejecting this response because:
    They are wanting us to pay to have container removed from our property, when its not our responsibility that they sold us a bad container that is not water or weather pooped, and the doors dont even open or shut. And you can go through their reviews they have over 50 bad reviews about the same problem. And we did were not told the paper was to sign for the container being in good condition. It was for the container being delivered.

    We reviewed the photos the customer sent and didnt see any signs of leaks or holes. We also asked for additional pictures in our last response but didnt receive anything new.
    While this order doesnt meet the requirements for a return, we still offered a full refund as a courtesy. The customer declined to return the container for a refund, even though the contract he signed clearly states that return shipping is his responsibility. As for the delivery form, it does confirm the container was received in good condition. The customer signed it and checked off each section after inspecting the unit at the time of delivery.

    I am rejecting this response because: not only did I send you multiple pictures, that you keep saying never received and not once did I get a response. I have more photos as well when I was asking you if you received them and you kept ignoring me saying the same thing over and over. We are not the first ****** you have screwed over with a container. And if thats the case you should really tell your delivery ****** they need to explain paperwork better. Because no where was we told it was saying it was in good condition. We were only told that it was for delivery. Your company is at fault so why should I pay out of my pocket to return something I did not mess up.

    The container supposedly has a twenty year leak warranty, I was told by Conex I could not refuse the container for light surface rust. 3 months after taking delivery the roof started leaking inside profusely, I called Conex, they sent me 3 small tubes of ** ****, I spent 6 hours grinding out rust and patching a 7"x12" spot with approximately 8 holes in it. 3 months later 2 more large holes emerged in the roof. I have spent about 30 hours grinding rust and attempting to repair leaks. Now the door seals are falling off from rusting out, and Im being told I didn't closely enough inspect the container upon its arrival and that the 20 year leak warranty is not applicable for me. It's clear to me that this company has and had no intention of giving any kind of warranty on this disappearing Rust bucket of a container, I have contacted them on 7 occasions about help and they request pictures, I send the pictures and they then tell me they need to get a supervisor involved, they then request a different set of pictures, I send them and they tell me they have to get someone else involved, and they request more pictures, I have spent the last 8 months being ignored, passed off and now I've been waiting 3 weeks for a manager to contact me.

The rust visible on the doors is typical for a used container; we recommend lightly sanding and painting the affected areas to extend the containers service life.     Very poor communication and does not keep their agreement. They pestered me up until I purchased then I didn't hear from them. They promised delivery in 7 to 10 days even asking me what day I would like delivery then ignore me. I didn't receive my first container for two months. The second container took another month. They had no intentions of sending pictures before loading even though they agreed to before purchase. I rejected the second container because the containers walls were bowed out really bad even the driver said it was not a good container. The next container they told the driver he's not allowed to send pictures and once its delivered as long as it meets their standards im stuck with it. Apparently two of the four hinges missing the pins meets their standard. Dont pay extra for cargo worthy. There is no difference. Save yourself the headache and go with local and see the container first

    In Dec of 2024 I had ordered a used 20ft Conex container. It was advertised as waterproof and wind resistant and fully inspected even if it was used. The container got delivered in January during a snow storm. within a month it leaked water about a foot into the door. the sides have holes and can see daylight thru. the sides are bowed out, its a complete eyesore. I store firewood in this to heat my entire home. with it leaking all the firewood i had got soaked. and is unusable till it dries out. the container stays full with water ceiling, walls, door. Its just an oversized non solid paperweight.we tried emailing to get ahold of them and nothing. over a month nothing. We finally got in touch with them today and they stated to my husband it was not their problem. I called back again and was told they could give a credit to "paint the contain and fix the holes". And that they guarantee the inspection of said containers. I paid quite a bit of money for this as the firewood is how i heat my house all year long.

    Purchased a used container. One of the two doors is bent and it will not close. I was offered $300 to settle my complaint. I refused as it leaves me with a product thats not what I purchased. I want what I purchased. This isnt a warranty claim. Its a fraudulent sale! The unit either needs to be repaired or replaced! Im asking for nothing more.

    I am rejecting this response because: you did not deliver the product I ordered. The bent door was not obvious to a general review. Don't blame me for substandard product. You were made aware of the problem in a polite request to suggest a fix, and tried incessantly to claim the unit was uneven causing the problem. Credit my account for $1,000, and I'll go away.  I can remove the doors and replace them with new ones for $2,000 to $2,500. I'll eat the difference. I'll also eat the cost of the jacks and **** lugs $130.

    This is not a warranty claim! I agreed to buy a Conex that met stated standards. You agreed to supply that Conex in exchange for my payment. I met my half of the contract. You did not.

    *** got a contractor that can fix the door so may be willing to settle for your last offer to credit my CC account. Please reinstate that offer for my consideration.

    Paid in full for delivery on 11/29/2024, Used Condex promised ***** days for delivery, numerous phone calls to them every excuse in the book., Finally they made an appointment to deliver on Jan 13th 2025, at noon I received a call from them, date changed the to the 14th. The trailer box was going to my son's house, he took time off from work to be able to level the box on delivery. I will say they refunded my money within 3 days.

    At no point would ************************** provide an estimate of when they'll get more containers. Additionally they kept playing pass the buck by asking me to call and when that didn't work to email and when that didn't work to text and when that didn't work to reach out on ******** Messenger so the sales *** could email the office on my behalf. 

     

     

    Warning to anyone who reads this, if they can't send a picture of the container they're asking money for, RUN! 

     

    I ended up paying more for a local company who uses local drivers to deliver and had a container delivered within 3 business days!

    I placed an order for a WWT 40' shipping container on 9/23/24. I still have not received the container. I have had irregular contact with updates. When I tried to phone them I only got an automated message. The original delivery time was supposed to be ***** days. This has gone on long enough. I have requested my money back. The answer I received was we'll update you shortly on the refund.

    The company guarantees a leak proof container. They said that the container will be ***** and that it is purely aesthetic. The rust turned out to be a leak and our contents are ruined, causing thousands in damage. The company said we should have seen it was a hole, despite the delivery person attesting for the container and them having insisted that the rust was aesthetic. We couldn't have known until it rained. The company customer service has been awful. They are sending us a patch and say it's our fault for not noticing the leak. This was purchased in May 2024.

Their intention was not to place blame on you but to gain a better understanding of whether the leak was noticeable at that time. Thats why we offer a comprehensive warranty to assist you in case any leaks occur in the container, even years after your purchase. We previously contacted you on November 8th, and as mentioned, we have sent you a patch as part of our warranty.     I am rejecting this response because:

    The leak is coming from a area that is about 12"x8". The company must have known about it because a repair was previously attempted and has gone bad. The company sent putty, which is great if the leak was a small hole. The company said that they "investigate" the unit by closing the door and seeing if there is light. We also did that upon receipt of the unit and there was none. But water is still getting in. The putty (pictured) is entirely insufficient for this issue. We suspect a welder and a coat of rubber paint is necessary to make this a reliable storage space, as had been GUARANTEED by the company for 25 years six months ago. We are experiencing rain right now so we have the container covered in tarp to attempt to protect our contents. The company reached out on Friday and said they would follow up on Monday. They called at 6:45am and asked me to let them know when a good time to call would be via text. I've texted three times with no response.

    Our warranty covers only providing a patch, which has been proven to be the best solution for leaks in shipping containers. This warranty is widely accepted in our industry, and we do not offer welding services.
