1 starCon job is doesn't begin to describe this business. Get your money and next to impossible to get appointments scheduled sfter 1st 1 . 1 starI am a client with South Bay Medical Clinic and a disabled combat Gulf War veteran. I have tried to speak with someone, but I cannot seem to get any response. I wonder if you could help me. I’m trying to get a hold of Dean. He told my wife & I – if I have any problems to reach out to him. Every time I go there – he’s not there. I need to see about stopping the program, am having some serve difficulties and it is not working. I spoke to my VA Dr (Veteran Affairs) He advised me to stop the program and contact you. I had one appointment, had 1 treatment and paid in full for next session of treatments. After driving for 1 1/2 hours to the facility and back, decided it was going to be very stressful for me and my wife to do any more trips or treatments and next day requested to have money paid refunded for any further treatments. It has been 2/12 months and many phone calls and have received no refund. They have offered a form to fill out for the request, but never received that either. I saw the advertisements on local television and thought Id check it out. I found the staff courteous and professional. ***** conducted most of my visits and he was great. Very professional and his small talk eased my apprehension. I found the treatments effective.South Bay Medical Clinic LLC

I signed up with the South Bay Clinic in Tampa. I had seen ads for acoustic wave therapy in several urologist offices and online the past several years and decided this could be a more desirable option than others (eg: inplants) to get results for ED. These treatments, as I learned, are not inexpensive. I did 6 treatments and was told there would be a 4 to 6 week break before starting the final 6 treatments. To say I was thoroughly underwhelmed with the results after 12 treatments I voiced my concerns to which the clinician authorized 6 additional treatments at no additional cost. Based on my experience and reading other reviews, in my humble opinion this treatment has a significantly lower success rate than advertised and I would advise others dealing with the disappointment and anguish of ED to seek out urologists who provide other remedies.

I have reviewed Mr. W's file and he had seen a 20% increase as stated by him. We have provided him an additional 6 free treatments to help him out as a gesture of kindness and truly wanting the treatments to be a benefit him. Many things come into place with Acoustic Therapy. Current Medical conditions that he has along with medications he's taking can be a contributing factor to the reason why you didn't get the results you desired. I understand his frustration, however providing information to the BBB claiming the success rates are lower than we advertise is not substantiated, we have patients getting wonderful results every single day. I feel Mr. W's post should not be posted as we never tell any patients this is 100% guaranteed. It is an elective treatment procedure and not covered by insurance. Mr. W was aware of that, before he began his treatment plan. We have gone above and beyond to help Mr. W. Thank you.

My rebuttal. First, I would point out that the response from South Bay is lacking any quantitative success rate data. While I appreciated the extra treatments provided in an effort to further improve my results, they accomplished no additional benefit. I have to take issue with the health and medications defense. I am in better physical condition and health than the majority of men my age. Yes, I am mildly overweight but not close to being obese, so this is not a factor. My medications (two) are few and prescribed and described to me by my PCP as preventative. To describe my improvement as 20% is rather humorous given the question and answer protocol at each appointment: asked "have you noticed any improvement" and replied once, "some". If you start out with a constant flaccid condition and achieve a slightly less flaccid condition evidenced only by a mild feeling of arousal with no physical response, and definitely far from being able to achieve penetration, I'm not certain that would qualify to be 20%. Their TV commercials are highly over exuberant about the results they can achieve even in the most improbable of circumstances. Most of the men in the reception room I queried said they were not experiencing the results they expected as well. So, my original opinion stands. Consult with your urologist first before making the decision to embark down the Acoustic Therapy path.Review fromJohhnny S

1 starI have tried to speak with someone, I cannot seem to get any response. When I spoke to the tech who was performing the treatment, he explained that I was being taken advantage of and that the treatment will not work. He also stated that I paid the "FULL Price" because I was dressed nice, and I was a professional, so they knew they could charge me the full amount. I feel like I was taken advantage of because of the way I was dressed and not treated equally. I was discriminated against and that should never be the case. I was charged over 7,000, I believe this Business takes advantage of people, very sad. I have asked to speak to someone concerning a partial refund. No one returns my call, so I felt I needed to come here and leave feedback to help others not get taken advantage of.Review fromAndy P

Unfortunately I found dealing with Southbay to be very frustrating. Relevant information was not disclosed at the consultation. It appears that getting customers money is the biggest consideration. . There is no follow up from staff, period. ISouth Bay Medical Clinic LLC
