My insurance approved a claim to replace my siding and sent Homee, Inc. to provide a quote. I signed a contract to replace the siding. The job was supposed to start on 8/18/21 and finish by 8/23/21. I wanted a dark gray but Greg brought us a very light, almost white. It was not the color I wanted & he pacified me by saying all other colors were on a back order. I was never shown a sample or anything. They proceeded by taking off the existing vinyl siding and did not take the wood siding off. They did not wrap the house, use a water-resistant barrier or any type of insulation or backer board. They used the existing starter strips & nailed the vinyl siding to the existing material the old siding was on. They were working on my house without a permit & my neighbors were complaining because there were nails in the street & they ended up complaining to the city. Greg got a permit under my name fraudulently (instead of his name) so now I am liable for any code violations. During this time, they damaged my new gutters I brought in 2020, took down my fence to put a trailer in instead of a dumpster & did not put it back up, damaged my landscaping, took down my newer mailbox & dented it, took off & discarded my light fixtures in the front of my house & the garage & covered the electrical wires, took off my screen door in the front and discarded it, dismantled my porch to add the siding & never rebuilt it, took off soffit on the porch area to put on j-channel & did not replace it, These are just some of the damages incurred. On 10/04/21, the contractor submitted the job as complete and Homee paid him without hearing from me. When I notified them, Greg abandoned the job. Now, Homee wants to charge my insurance company an additional $*** to complete it. My house is in complete disarray. My gutters are not functioning and there's debris everywhere. The siding is not flush and everything is very sloppy. We had high winds & a piece of siding already flew off. I need a resolution.
